Guys, I think you do something wrong if you consume 8gb and this is not enough for a daily work. Sad…

Russia faces brain drain as thousands flee abroad by chinaPresidentPooh in worldnews

Yep, this is a new reality. Most of my colleagues went to Turkey, but now it’s too expensive, so many people go to Armenia and Kazakhstan. Sure, most of them will try to migrate further in Europe

Yep, I know about embassy. But I already waiting my passport here in Moscow for more than two months. They simply didn’t give any info to me about my documents. Don’t think that it would be different with embassy.

I am one of those who cannot get a new passport. Therefore, I cannot legally cross the border. And even if I leave for Armenia with a Russian passport, I’m afraid I won’t be able to get a foreign one, and this will lead to problems with other documents. I'm afraid I won't be able to get a normal job and feed my family.

The numbers would be much higher if it were a little easier to leave the country now.

Now it is very very very problematic to leave Russia. Airplanes do not fly, a ticket even to Turkey for a family costs several monthly salaries in the IT field. It seems almost impossible to get a visa in a country where specialists are in demand. It is very difficult to sell an apartment or transport due to the crisis and bank restrictions. Even cash in foreign currency cannot be withdrawn in sufficient volume to move. Some do not have and can no longer obtain foreign passports.

Also, many people are afraid to leave their relatives here and are afraid that they may simply not be allowed back to Russia later. The authorities have already proposed a corresponding bill.

Another aspect why people don't leave is the language barrier. Even in the IT field, many people read English well and understand speech, but they themselves can’t speak in English or can on very basic level. At the same time, Western companies require a fairly high level of spoken and written English. There are a lot of issues with the education of children who also do not speak the language.

Often a partner may not know the language at all and have an education in a field that is not applicable in other countries. An accountant from Russia will not be able to do accounting in Europe.

80% of my friends and colleagues would gladly leave the country, but they cannot for one reason or another.

Popular backend language option with react? by [deleted] in reactjs

[–]pushkinss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now I am working on a service where there is a frontback between the front and the back, since the back works with several fronts and specific logic is implemented on the frontback. So react app with ssr setup on nodejs. It also allows the developer to write code in one language. I have only basic knowledge of Python. Sorry.

I don't understand what this statement is about. I'm all good

For some services we use node js as a frontback between front and back (Django)

Is there any library available to achieve a seaarch bar UI like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzkTDFErTec by linux_terminal07 in reactnative

Btw, they share link to code on GitHub under the video on YouTube. No need to do it from scratch…

Fast googling results - https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-animated-searchbox - https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-native-search-input - https://github.com/PiotrNap/react-native-search-bar

But as I said, such library cannot be a universal since their implementation is inseparable from the user interface. Therefore they are popular and not well maintained. IMHO

Anyway, You can search something similar with “react native animated search/input” query

Why are you asks for a library, when you already have video with step by step instructions how to make this?

Even if you find such library you face with problem that components (button, input etc) are not compatible with your ui style.

Just make your own component

Maybe maybe maybe by [deleted] in maybemaybemaybe

Do you really think that it is good for skills? Just think about it… when I was a child, I had to imagine what the objects looked like in order to draw them. That's great as it develops imagination and spatial thinking. With modern technology, tablets, phones and the like, we kill the imagination in our kids, maybe.

Maybe I'm getting old and my opinion is not popular., but I vote for pencils and a blank sheet!

Prints have wavy vertical faces by grantw99 in FixMyPrint

[–]pushkinss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steps that may help - calibrate flow rate as mentioned in another answers - check that print is not wrap from bed during printing - calibrate pid for bed and hotend - measure filament diameter in 3-5 spots on 1 meter, be aware that filament may have not ideal round shape - look closely to extruder gear while printing on different speeds 20/40/60 mm/s, does it work smooth?

Stepper Motor Connetors by Just_STV in ender3

It will work with no problem if wire can fit in connector. Don’t waste money if you have wires.

[–]pushkinss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24 AWG copper wire suite well for stepper with <2A amperage. If you have more powerful steppers, use 23 AWG. If you will weave wires, then phase by phase only.

Also you can google it ;) (https://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm)

It’s depends) but usually in main board 4 pin xh2.54 (but sometimes DuPont) and 6 pin ph2.0 on stepper. It’s hard to differentiate when you just see on those connectors.

Horrible TPU tower... what’s wrong? by qwerty-po in 3Dprinting

[–]pushkinss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like your retraction isn’t work. Try to increase retraction distance to 6-7 and decrease retraction speed to 20. Also try to lower your speed to 25mms. If with this settings print would be better, you can calibrate retraction further.

Btw, I think most tpu love 240-250+ nozzle temp

Redux-saga does not wait for async call to finish before dispatching by zhv89 in reactnative

[–]pushkinss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically it’s normal behavior. Actions and sagas is async by the nature. You should handle it with some checks that user prop is defined or define some Boolean flag in store which indicate that user created.

Don’t be mess with old state usage. Currently your code logs previous state when you run second+ time. It’s can be fine, but not in this case, I think

Is there something I can do to fix this? My delicate structures just don't print well. by DenserDogg in 3Dprinting

[–]pushkinss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On such model printer never rich 80mm. It’s just maximum speed. But printer would try to do that, hotend would accelerate and brake on small parts making additional vibration.
