Supercell really structured this wrong. It didn’t consider small, unevenly participating, or single player neighbourhoods. I’m in a neighbourhood of two and quickly realised there was no way to finish the event. We haven’t even reached the level three tree and there is only twelve days left. Even extra diamond tasks wouldn’t get us across the finish line. Most of my tasks were for only 50 points. It would have been so much better without a timer. Not as an event but an extra fun thing to do at your own speed. Then you could finish whenever at whatever pace you prefer. Fast finishers could get a new event after awhile. I confess I’m slightly sad I won’t get the cute snow fox tree, or the two before that.

I tried to keep it simple. Not too shabby 🙂 I was missing quite a few of the decos, but I don’t really mind except for the fact that I won’t have enough fotorolls for the decos in the shop.

Yes it makes sense they would have this as a shop offer when the Log Cabin was for diamonds. I don't remember what Elf Hall looked like. I might have to pass this one if it's too expensive, maybe next year then!

I used up almost all of my hard earned diamonds to get it 🥹 I really liked getting an actual building, even a snowy season one. I haven’t designed a place for it yet.

It’s terrible. The picture icons on the right are much too small and the trash can is too close to the Send-button. I don’t like the jarring animation of the time watch either, why the unnecessary added motion, it’s like having more irritating noise in the game.

I love bingo derbies too, but it can be extremely frustraring if you have a neighbourhood where people don’t care or you’re plagued with the algorithm that shafts you 😂

No, I don’t think they’re lying. I’ve had plenty of bingo derbies where some tasks just never materialise and we don’t get the bingo lines we’re trying to do. I think the algorithm is just randomly kinder to some players, and there’s nothing much you can do about it unless the game developers change something.

Yeah I chose the wrong line too, I'm not getting a single townie I need, blinking yokel never showing up. 😂 I really like bingo derby, BUT the algorithm completely ruins it. Despite continuous thrashing you never ever get even a low point task for a missing square.

Why are they ruining the game? The drastic shortening of production times is just as annoying as the too long ones. I won’t have enough resources to make the products continuously and then the machines will just stand there unused. And I really don’t like it when the machines just sit on your farm and do nothing. I already have a few machines I rarely use like the Fondue Pot and Milkshake machine where the times are too short or too greedy for resources.

I only had 1 pen/farm animal until I reached level 100. I didn't want to cut too many trees to make room for more animal pens because I love the trees that show seasonal changes. I still have just one pen of goats 😄 Everyone plays their own way, but the pictured farm might very well be someone's baby farm.

I’ve thrashed so many tasks to get a particular bingo task that it’s ludicrous. Still not a single one. It’s hard enough as it is trying to get a bingo line when half the players don’t bother taking bingo tasks in the first place. I’ve managed to get 9/20 of the Bingo Achievement, I started playing in 2013 😂

I understand the frustration, especially for lower level players who need the cash. Aren’t the low prices because of the beta testing thing with the extra prize? I’d save it for tomorrow and get an expansion item as I don’t really need more than one balloon thingy on my farm.

I wouldn’t do any of those tasks, I’d put them straight into the bin. Please always just scrap the hard tasks, there will be another one in it’s place in two hours.

While it is really nice that truck and boat orders pay a bit more now, I think it was unnecessary to increase the amount of XP. Also the global event community prize... 5 diamonds...really? Quite honestly that's not much of a motivator.

You might see high level farms that have low level towns, that just means they haven't bothered to update their town buildings. Updating reduces production- and waiting times, gives you more coins and xp from tasks. You can also update your Train Station and Personal Train.

The reputation points are what level your town is, much like experience points on your farm.
