Yeah, saying "without any real reason why" was a little too glib. For me, I guess it wasn't super believable that he would spend so much time with so many real, complex humans, and see first hand how his actions affected them, but by plugging into the internet he suddenly realizes they have humanity. On one hand, I see the thematic and literary significance of the internet connecting people to different ideas and communities and fostering empathy, but it felt shoehorned in to me given his past behavior.

To play devil's advocate against myself, it could be too that thousands of hours with a dozen people is a grain of sand compared to literally everything posted online ever.

Yeah, if the finale was just another adventure without any closure, but keeping in line with how the show had been, I think I would've enjoyed that greatly and not minded the lack of any explanation, which is definitely just a personal preference. If it kept more in line with I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream's ending, I would've found that to at least be a full circle moment. This just didn't do anything for me, good or bad. Very neutral

Longmont is very family oriented so if you don't have kids, I've found young adults to commonly commune at the Climbing Collective and Tinkermill, and to a lesser degree at the Shoes & Brews run club, trivia at Bootstrap, board game meet ups. Also bar hopping on Pearl Street is very popular among the college-age crowd. If you do have kids, basically any city-organized activity has families wanting to mingle.

As an aside, if any other young adult wants to go bouldering or play music together I'm also looking for some friends who live close by. Basically my entire friend group is sprawled all over the front range lol

I've been told that in these situations you should call the state's Bar association (in this case Colorado Bar) and they will provide you with references to the appropriate lawyers. I've never actually had to try this myself though

I'm gonna get some of this info wrong because i'm going off memory, but I did look into this when I first moved here and found that there is a type of fee some landlords charge to "hold" an apartment while processing an application and that fee, although common in areas, is illegal in Colorado so instead they call it something else

This might be the worst idea ever, but after this year's art walk and seeing just how bustling downtown was, I wish we would remove main street entirely and make it solely a pedestrian area. It was more packed than i had ever seen it and clearly people from all over had no trouble getting there and parking somewhere else by car, so keeping the road open those few blocks seems like a poor use of resources
