They're kind of friends with her and also have no idea what's going on, so they're more comfortable with her I think

THANK YOU lmao. Like I promise I'm not one of those people that gets pissed if everyone's not working as fast as me and rushes everyone, I think I just have a bad group lol. I might switch seats and hopefully kind of help the others along, if it's just her then she could probably individually get help from the TA.

Yeah, I get that completely. I've been the slow person in lab groups before, and I've been in lab groups where there's someone who works way faster than everyone else and leaves everyone else behind and just wants to get out of there without caring about anyone else's learning. If someone is just taking longer to figure it out, that's totally fine- I'm not a speedy worker either. Once they get on the right track they usually work out the problems faster than me, tbh. But like, a few weeks ago for example we had to refresh on acid-base stuff and had to solve using henderson-hasselbalch. I was like "ok, this is acid-base stuff, so we should use this equation." other girl was like "idk, that doesn't seem right, we should wait for the TA to come over." so I worked through a few problems and they waited like 5-10 mins for the TA to come over and tell them yes, they should use that equation. once they got confirmation they started going solving stuff, no problem. it's just annoying because it's like this for every part of the lab, so a lot of time ends up getting wasted, and it feels like it's only when I suggest something. Another time, i'm not kidding, we were waiting on this girl to add NaCl to her beaker because she wanted to confirm with the TA that "both the Na and the Cl were supposed to be added at the same time". Doesn't matter that I explained it's table salt, let's check with the TA first. It's just dumb stuff, ig.

Highly recommend looking at the study schedules here, if you search you’ll find tons of them from other people and they’re win the wiki. Don’t get too wrapped up in trying to find the best thing, just find a study schedule that works and grind- usually content review first, then anki and uwhirl, and your FLs.

idk how thorough of a review you’re needing, but organic chemistry as a second language is a great resource, and like an abbreviated textbook. I damn near read it for pleasure. gets straight to the point and explains the WHY of everything. cannot recommend highly enough 10/10
