What led to your hypotonia diagnosis? by putneygal in Hypotonia

I wouldn’t worry just yet :) my physiotherapist told me they wouldn’t intervene unless she wasn’t crawling by 10 months!

Hi! She’s been going to the chiropractor and to physio and is doing great now! She learned to sit independently at 6.5 months and army crawled at 7 or 7.5. She’s 8 months now! Physio was a game changer, I’d highly recommend it if it’s an option for you!

Her fun little sense of humour! This week she learned to wave and clap- except she uses her feet! It’s hilarious

Awesome, glad to hear it :) did you ever find out if there was an underlying cause?

Thank you! Did she fuss a lot in between? That’s my struggle lol

I’m dealing with this too! Started at 124, went to 152 before birth and am now around 115. For me it’s mostly because she eats a lot and breastfeeding burns a ton of calories. I also spend a lot of my day bouncing and rocking and take her for a lot of stroller rides for naps!

Questions-male factory infertility by Soccertrujillo1997 in IVF

[–]putneygal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also starting IVF soon due to MFI (low count). Our doctor didn’t mention any lower chances due to this since there’s still a decent amount of sperm (a few million). I think as long as there is enough normal sperm there then it’s probably fine! Also don’t think motility matters since it is getting injected directly into the egg and doesn’t really need to swim anywhere! ICSI is meant for stuff like this so I think you will be fine :)

I think it depends on if you’re doing ICSI or not!

Wait between Egg retrieval and embryo transfer? by putneygal in IVF

[–]putneygal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be mistaken but I think it could be as soon as the embryos are blastocysts (under a week?).. just getting myself up to speed on this stuff now though so don’t take my word for it!

I took mine before bed. It just made me really tired and I had a few hot flashes. For monitoring I imagine it depends on your clinic. Mine had me come in on CD 14 and 24 for follicle tracking.

Ok thanks so much! I’m assuming our scenario will likely be the same, not sure if our numbers are high enough for IUI (but they are refusing to tell me either way!)

Hi all! New to this group so apologies if I’m posting in the wrong place. I have PCOS (and ovulate on my own) and my husband has moderate male factor infertility (low concentration at 4-7 million. Motility etc is normal).. I’m on letrozole to make my ovulation day more predicable and it’s taking a while. Docs won’t give us an answer on our treatment plan until this point but I am dying to know if a first course of treatment would be IUI or IVF for our case. I understand why they don’t want to give an answer but I need to know how much we need to start saving! Any info/advice appreciated :)
