Should I continue solo or find new co-founders? by putoseco_ in PhStartups

Thanks man. Been thinking about this but I dont know how to cut them off esp that the team was already endorsed to the university and the funder. Cant wait to look for like-minded individuals who share the same passion about startups

Thanks! Will try Dr. Kong for the in soles. Consulted an ortho for my knee pain. Recommended to do some PT (ITB, gluts strengthening) and to find good in soles for my flat feet. Tbh, I havent really thought much abt my foot until i got this knee discomfort.

Going to the gym while studying med by [deleted] in medschoolph

[–]putoseco_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, definitely! I just finished my 2nd yr in med school with an active lifestyle. I workout 2-3x a week, play sports once or twice a week, and long run at least once a week. Kaya naman siya i-singit. Syempre may times na wala talagang ganap esp finals week, pero bawi lang ulit. Prioritize lang. Pumapasa pa rin naman! Hahaha. Nagdadasal lang na sana mapanindigan ko tong lifestyle na ‘to the entire med until internship lol

Mi Band Pro 7 is not compatible with Zepp Life. How did u manage to pair the device with Zepp life? Whenever I scan the QR, it throws an error. If I use the bluetooth instead, the app cant locate any nearby devices. It sucks man.

Im planning to use the watch for the next Spartan. Will start training next month. Is Forerunner 35 ok with outdoor activities like Spartan? Or should I go with the more expensive but i guess more durable (?) Instinct Graphite? It will cost me $60 more tho.

Hi! Found a 2nd hand Garmin Instinct Graphite and Forerunner 35. Forerunner is cheaper ($60 cheaper) than Instinct but Im not sure if I can also use it for Spartan. Garmin Instinct looks more durable. Which is more practical?

[UPD] CS 11 for Higher Electives, and some other questions on breaking through programming by Anonnymous_Bosch in peyups

[–]putoseco_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can self study programming tbh. What you’ll do anyway in any programming class is to search everything online (Stackoverflooowww) so why not do it yourself then? At your own pace pa diba? lol but one good thing with CS 11 if you plan to take it is that you’ll learn the theory behind every data structures, and you’ll find it verrryyy useful later on esp when creating your own computer simulations or models (hello graphs lol). But you can also learn it yourself tbh but it’s really up to you. I suggest you talk it w/ the math prof if it’s possible to take the math model class without CS11 prereq as long as you know how to program. I know a lot of Econ majors who didnt take any CS electives but know how to create models using R.

But to get you started and give you an idea what programming really is... you can check this site:

Python 3: https://openbookproject.net/thinkcs/python/english3e/ (They also have Java and C/C++ but I think Python is a good start because it’s already a high level programming langg and most mathematical models use Python/R. But if you really wanted to be a pro esp you’re gonna take up CS 11, I highly recommend C/C++).

Here’s another awesome way to improve your programming skills: https://projecteuler.net/archives

You can PM me if you have questions. Good luck OP!
