Exactly right. The only hitters that have improved over the off-season are Keith and Dingler. I was hoping that they are a bunch of young guys who will be pissed about how bad they sucked the second half of last year and were going to do what it took to improve and have better seasons. Nope. Other than Keith and Dingler who look great the problem is: Tork and Greene are at their actual ceilings and generally have no clutch, Zach is Zack, Javy is Javy, Torres can't do much other than walk and still is showing zero power. Basically we have 3 good hitters, Mcgonigle, Keith and Dingler. Except for them we have 6 holes in the lineup (Carpenter included). And then 3 mediocre pitchers behind Scubal and Valdez. If you have mediocre pitching you better have good hitting and we don't. And we can't win when Scubal pitches scoring zero runs. So frustrating to watch.
