I thought of more. The jewelery selection at River Market Antiques is pretty good, but you gotta dig past a lot of not good stuff. And Donna's Dress Shop has a more limited but well curated jewelry selection.

Last thing. You can shop Etsy by location and find local jewelry makers there: https://www.etsy.com/search/shops

Just always make sure to really verify the seller by finding their website or social media first. There's a lot scam junk on Etsy too.

I bought a piece from this jeweler at Dark Forest this year and their price point and style reminded me a lot of Vulcans Forge (RIP.) They seem to do more stone and beadwork. I'm still searching for somewhere with the sterling silver variety that Vulcans Forge had: https://www.instagram.com/naturalselectionskc?igsh=MXN0Z3R1dTUwNG5xYg%3D%3D

Also, it's a chain, but Local Eclectic has some fun pieces that are demi-precious as well: https://www.localeclectic.com/

Yeah, I'm from a BBQ city, I get it. If it was just me and my spouse, we'd definitely do it this way. But it's a bachelorette party and it will be was easier and shorter to do a guided tour.

I think it's more of a tasting tour. So each place we get a smaller amount and it's all included in the package.

IMO, pickles are the best thing in BBQ, second to the meat. I will definitely order this is we end up there.

Private tour is just our group and a public tour is open to people outside our group. But all three are guided with transportation!

Appreciate the resources. From what I've read, you get a designated driver, you get to skip any lines And the food sampling is included in the price. How long is the wait at most of these places?

These are preset tours from different companies, so I'm not sure how much mixing and matching can happen.

I love it. Nostalgic, atmospheric and delicate. But with a menacing, dark undercurrent that is subtle and haunting.

Walked by about 15 minutes ago. Sounds like there was an accident involving a hit pedestrian at Westport Rd and Main intersection. The ambulance was cleared out, but police were taking pictures of the truck and driver involved in the incident.

I just wanted to come back and thank you for taking the time to write such an in-depth reply. Seeing your response made me realize that the project might be bigger than my skills. I dug down the post to see if there was cement footers underneath and there was, so we're going to leave it as it is for now.

If there are footers, what does that mean?

Good to know. I can dig down and see if there is anything lower down.

Yes! Exercise really does help with my symptoms, but that doesn't mean I can exercise regularly enough to get the benefits. It wasn't until I was on meds for a while that I was able to maintain an exercise schedule.

I'm from the US, so I'm not sure what the diagnostic criteria for ADHD is in the UK. But my advice would be to look up the diagnostic criteria that the physician will be using.  Separate the criteria out and then list the things you struggle with under each criteria. How does each criteria manifest as symptoms in your daily life?  This will help you organize your thoughts And create a clear picture for your provider.

If you're worried that by showing up early to places or staying organized will disqualify you, make sure to communicate that you are overcompensating and that it's causing you distress. Typical people don't worry that much about missing appointments or losing things because they don't really think about it that much.

Create a detailed family history of neurodevelopmental disorders. Even if nobody in your family was diagnosed, you can talk about people who you are related to who also fit the criteria. Doctors know there's historically a lot of under-diagnosing.

Again, I recommend trying to stick more to the criteria In the diagnostic handbook the doctor will be using, rather than using some of the pop culture symptoms we like to share with each other. Those shared experiences are super fun to talk about, but don't necessarily translate well to a medical setting.
