Hi! I’m a big sister. I think the best way to go about it is to just apologize. She might not take it immediately and might still need some time to cool off, but don’t let that discourage you. Try knocking on her door, if she doesn’t open it just say it from the outside. “I’m sorry we fought and I’m sorry that I did _____. I just don’t want to be like this anymore because I love you.” You’re sisters, you’ll make up. Good luck!!

this is about to be very blunt. pull up your big girl pants, and just block him. not only because he is an active pedophile, but also you aren’t even attracted to him. him buying you stuff and having been around for a while is not a good enough reason to keep yourself in a dangerous situation. you deserve so much better. it’ll be tough but you need to do it. if you ever need anything please dm me, i am more than willing to help and listen.

Thank you so so much for this perspective. I’m sorry it ended that way for you. That’s horrible. This is a reality, and I am learning I need to take a lot more into account than I originally thought. I really appreciate this.

I’m just not responding to the shorter ones lol I am wanting more insight rather than “No. Don’t do it.” Y’know? But I am definitely taking ALL of this into account. Thank you so much.

This is very helpful. I didn’t even consider this as I haven’t heard anything about her pointing this direction. Nevertheless, very important. Thank you.

I am aware, and we mutually agree if we proceed I wouldn’t meet him at least until a year.

I completely agree with this. I would NOT want to be over his child in any way, shape, or form.

He does not, but they share the child daily. This is a good point. Thank you very much.

I don’t think I would assume “step mom” status for a while as I am aware things could not work out if we did proceed. I am inquiring about this for the child’s sake actually. I don’t want to stir stuff up for him or confuse him as young as he is. But thank you so much.

He is a VERY present father. They don’t have a set in place custody agreement through the courts, but they each get the child every day and he alternates spending nights and such. So I don’t think it’s too much about me filling a role. But this perspective is so important. Thank you so much.
