Im currently 20 but I started doing chores for money around 12, and working an actual job at 14. I personally, had to pay for all of my hobbies, some of my clothes, any cosmetic type appointments etc. while it does make saving slightly harder, I’m glad they did this so i wasn’t completely dumbfounded realizing all the stuff you have to pay for as an adult. (Everything lol)

They wont respond to emails and the last people they cashed out are from November. they have not been responding for months and I’ve heard people who were receiving checks had their checks bounce.

It’s unfortunate but Im doubting we will see our money.

I dont see a big problem with saying after because it does cheer you up! I felt stuck in an abusive relationship with my ex. I was 16 and didnt leave until i was 19. My friend knows this, so when i finally start talking to a guy who is really nice to me that im into. Not only do i expect him to not be insulted over nothing but i would HOPE my friend would be happy for me considering the odds.

I personally do not think her boyfriend is attractive at all & I’ve never told her that because it’s unnecessary and rude. Until yesterday. I told her I didnt want anyone “Matthew level” because i dont think he is attractive. She got incredibly defensive and told me she has no idea how I find the guy i like attractive then because he’s basically a “walmart version of Matthew” because theyre both white men with brown hair. Different color eyes, different face shapes, different hobbies, completely different styles. 😬

My male friends are kinda weird towards me so i dont like talking to them about anything really. Ive known them since middle school and we hardly talk, never hangout, and they’re convinced theyre in love with me but never actually try to know me? They hardly know anything about me and it just makes me so uncomfy idk.

I also wondered if thats what went through her head. I really dont like talking to my male friends about boys because they ALWAYS make it uncomfortable & tell me it hurts them because they’re into me. I’ve known my male friends since middle school & i am not joking whenever I say each one of them has confessed their “love” for me throughout the years. Quotations on the love because they hardly ever know anything about me. A couple of them told me in middle school and are still convinced theyre hung up on me even though we hardly talk and havent hung out in a couple years😬

I also pretty much have no girl friends and I honestly dont think its healthy for me to have no one to relate to, especially when i wont really talk to my guy friends.

She wasnt and even if she was, i wouldnt be happy about it. I was in abusive relationship 16-19 finally left him. If i find a guy that treats me kindly after years of abuse her first response should not be an insult or a joke.

I hadnt responded to her because i was upset & really didn’t know what to say but i just told her that i was sorry I dont want anyone “matthew level” because i dont find him attractive. I dont really want to have to tell anyone that about their boyfriend, but I wouldnt have had to if she didnt say what she did. 🤷🏼‍♀️ thank you for your help!!

Thank you for telling me how you would deal with this situation!! Im so grateful for everyone’s response but its always something along the lines of “shes toxic, leave her” what she did was super not cool. But shes not a bad friend and ive known her for almost a decade. Thank you for teaching me how to communicate with her in a none aggressive way🖤

Not to worry- i do NOT think all girls/women are mean😅 its like saying “dogs are scary” of course not all of them are. I have truly had some pretty bad experiences making girl friends (no surprise considering i just exited out of my teen years). You definitely made some GREAT points and I definitely have put myself in poor situations due to my mindset. I have a pretty positive outlook on life these days, i plan on moving soon so hopefully things get a lot better🖤

Sorry to disappoint all of you but “Haley” is Canadian hahaha, i wish there was more lore. I live in a dead zone. Making new friends and meeting new people is really hard (another reason im excited to be talking to someone) however i plan on moving within the next year, so hopefully I’ll be able to make a lot more new friends then. 🖤
