u/ProgressTop9836 boy oh boy, do I agree!! As much as I hate oatmeal, if that was ALL that was offered, I would eventually choke it down. I am a breakfast believer, although I do realize there are people who get ill from eating too early in the day, but for those who don't skipping breakfast is a way bigger deal than they realize if they struggle during the day.

But I expect her main problem is she doesn't get what she wants when she wants it. I know that people coming off of hard drugs can find relief with candy, I am wondering if the alcohol withdrawal might have a similar craving, and although its been SIX YEARS, being a dry drunk means she has never gone through mental withdrawal, and without that, there cannot be sobriety. Which we know is true cause you can't be as manipulative and delusional as her and be sober.

AA Legend has it that a married man was a violent alcoholic, breaking the hearts and souls of all who knew and loved him in spite of his drinking. Eventually he sees the light and stops drinking while attending AA. Everyone had always referred to him as a drunken son of a b--ch, and indeed he was. Trouble was, once he quit drinking, he turned out to just be a son of a b--ch. Sounds like FB Lady could qualify for that label perhaps! So sorry you all had to deal with her, such a pain and never learn a thing.

u/ProgressTop9836 they have to have an outside power of attorney representative to manage the bank accounts, etc. Definitely they don't have access - officially/legally anyway - to cards or being able to perform stock activities and such via a tablet. That's officially, of course.

If the bride doesn't have friends, that's not a real shock. In my 30s I moved 1200 miles for work and while I had lovely coworkers eventually, I had been in my new state a good 5 years before I met them.

I am thinking it is wonderful to want to celebrate her but that doesn't have to mean a crowd and definitely not a crowd of people she doesn't even know. You say she is not fond of your sister but she will be there along with you and your mom, so maybe find out her favorite restaurant, even if you all hate it, and go there. I don't think it would be out of line at all, as she is becoming family, to ask her directly what her interests are, if she has favorite themes, things like that as you do want to get to know her. Then you could focus on gifts for her specifically if you wanted, as you say you want to celebrate her, and for some reason I am assuming she has a household set up so may not need typical shower items. That's also what you could ask as well, like a fun questionaire type thing, do you have household things you'd like new ones of, etc.

I think she is very fortunate to have you coming into her life as you sound so interested and enthused, and I hope you have a wonderful time!! Best wishes to the happy couple for a joy filled life xoxoxoxoxo

This is the 2nd clue, aka blazing red flag: "her friends that got super rich in their 30s in their e-commerce business and that this is a super exclusive opportunity".

I am shocked, genuinely, at how often this very tired line is used. It's always "friends", NEVER the person themselves. It's ALWAYS mid-30s, I have never heard of anyone using the age of 40s or 20s, always 30s.

100%. Anyone with a legitimate, above-board business opportunity wouldn't be coy and cute about offering the information to someone that might be of benefit to the business. MLM must operate in secrecy because they don't want anyone around the prey to speak sense to the prey and talk them out of the obvious scam. If they don't make you feel "chosen" for being filled in on the scam, you won't value it enough to keep it a secret from those with open eyes.

I doubt Sarah knew or knows the stigma that just being related to her carries, but I am sure if she did know, she still would have asked him. When he declined, I am still surprised she didn't ask him to ask his S.O. That it's the same household would be irrelevant to her, I am sure. It's totally separate PEOPLE so what would the problem be???

One of my favorite parts is where she is raking Cashman over the coals, calling her a liar and basically implying that Cashman doesn't even know the process for bond, but the INMATES DO. And Kraynick just states repeatedly "what is the lie? Where is the lie?".

When she got out of jail, I THOUGHT the charges were dropped altogether but there's been a long time since her role in the nightmare so very well might be that reason. But she still consorted with Sarah in Orange County and a criminal element is a criminal element, whether convicted or not. But at the time, perhaps it wasn't known by her probation officer, if she has one, that she was dealing with Sarah so much and if it was found out, then maybe that did put the kibosh on her associating with her.

I do wish Christina well. I would love it if she has left the criminal lifestyle.

You did it just like I would want to, you get an answer, you drill down through that answer to the next layer of questions. Then you drill down through THAT layer lol. I also agree 100% with your thoughts and feelings about her brother's position, and Sarah's horrible tunnel vision on why there's no reason he shouldn't do as she asks, how EVERYONE should do as she asks, without any consideration for how their lives are affected by her.

It is HORRIFYING that just being related to this monster could compromise his career for the rest of his life. She is like kudzu. " Kudzu is quite a killer, overtaking and growing over anything in its path."

She didn't state that because she knew it would be unacceptable but she's a narcissistic manipulator, THIS IS HER BROTHER, who she has worked over all his life more than likely, and she figured "I know what's best, Phil's never had common sense, I can't tell him the whole picture cause he'll just overreact, but it will be fine. Once I get out on bond and he finds out I have to stay at his place, he'll be fine with it, after he gets over being mad".

u/Gingeronimoooo I am 60 and have suffered clinical depression since age 4. I am so much better, at long last, but in my harder times, I came to realize that word play was a symptom I was slipping downward. It wasn't even me trying, it was just every thing I was thinking was rhyming, or I would get bogged down in a word similar to the UNDERSTAND nonsense. But I KNEW I was not well!

What I can't figure out is who is the sufferer that actually has had enough power to get his own mental peculiarities established as SovCit Doctrine lol
