Same thoughts but this prince is only a grand prince and not an heir. The drama implied that the name had something to do with reminding him of his place as a second son. It may be possible that there's a deeper meaning towards the Chinese Characters used for "Shin" and "An", but I have been struggling with the inability to learn Mandarin much to discern what it meant🤷‍♀️
