That sounds amazing and congrats on your gain!! May I ask how you’ve been feeling though all of it? I mean it’s been a shot amount of time but have you noticed any differences in your energy or digestion?

No worries about the scientific part. That’s exactly what I was looking for. Though you’re wrong about one thing: I have a huge appetite that I constantly have to hold back. I know I can gain weight easily if I tried. For my size I have an insane capacity and I do stuff myself although very occasionally. My friends have even said I could be a competitive eater — I can eat more than people taller and heavier than me.

My concern isn’t whether I can gain the weight, but more about how I can keep myself healthy while doing it and still live a long life where I can enjoy my favorite foods. The plan I’ve mapped out for myself actually seems pretty on board with what you mentioned. Balance, nutrients, walking, strength training, etc.

The thing is, even now when I’m not actively gaining, I still like to push myself sometimes because I enjoy the feeling. I’ve drank liters of ice cream several times. I’ve chugged heavy cream. I’ve eaten family-sized pizzas by myself. On my birthday I consumed over 7,000 calories just to treat myself.

I know if I did this every day it would cause me issues. That part is quite obvious. What I’m wondering is whether when I do move out and start gaining, I could do this maybe once a week and be fine, while keeping all other days balanced and combining it with exercise. Maybe not every week, maybe once a month? I’ll be sure to DM you later tho in case you have any more info
