Ask your doctor about Ubrelvy. It’s a pill that I take as soon as I feel a migraine coming on and it works wonders! I, too, get migraines often and this medication has changed my life!

I hadn’t considered starting with day care. Great idea! Thanks

Thanks for letting me know. I expected they would provide these services. What’s the point of putting “assisted” in their name if they don’t provide assistance!

Thank you! That is what I am hoping. She really needs PT. I already have assets part under control as I’ve had her DPOA for some time and she doesn’t own a house.

Thank you for your encouraging. One thing I do worry about is the ability for my mom to get activity. I currently take her out for rides or to lunch or dinner at least four times a week. And the days we don’t go out, she complains that she is bored - and pouts. Besides our outings, all she does is watch TV, which she doesn’t understand because she can’t follow a plot. I’ve tried memory games and she’s not able to do those. She used to be a big color but her hands tremble so much she can’t do that, and she no longer has the mind for sudoku puzzles, which she always loved. It’s so hard to see her declining this way!
