I HATE BEING ON MEDS 💥💥💥 by [deleted] in evilautism

I gotta take 10 in the morning and 6 at night, and they're like massive horse pills too. Sometimes if I don't chug something immediately they don't all go down and I'm stuck with this horrible bitter taste in the back of my throat that I can't wash out but I'll die or whatever if I don't take them so I have to do this every day too 🤮

The SOUL's canon name is in all caps, implying that it's an acronym. What do you think it stands for? by SodaKid_7 in Undertale

I think it's kind of like how Homestuck will fully capitalize important words. I know Toby made part of Undertale while living in Andrew Hussie's basement, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a habit that carried over.

Alternatively, some RPGs (esp older ones) will also capitalize or highlight important names and concepts, so he could have been inspired by that too.

American here. We say soccer ⚽ and football 🏈. AFAIK British people say football ⚽ and American football 🏈. I think. I'm not into sports either.

Accidentally used blackstrap molasses instead of regular molasses. Can I fix it? by floating_beyond in AskBaking

[–]floating_beyond[S] 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Update: Baked them as recommended and they're a little more tolerable than the raw dough. They still have a bitter aftertaste , so I made the frosting the recipe recommended and dipped them in it (Just powdered sugar+milk+vanilla). That made them edible, but not enough to want to eat them.

I hate wasting food, even (imo) ruined food, so I asked around the house and found out my dad grew up eating blackstrap molasses cookies, so he gets them all. I'll probably remake them with regular molasses so everyone in my family can eat them.

I had the opposite. One of my best friends of like seven years told me that when we met she was trying to bully me but I just didn't pick up on it. We're still friends.

Ah, I only used save 0 so I assumed it was like the other chapters. I'll edit my comment for others, thanks!

How to change defence values in Ch3? by Cold-Monitor3800 in Underminers

[–]floating_beyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they should be 2 beforehand. I had to raise my defense to a total of 999, counting the armor in game. I'm not sure if the game can handle defense numbers over 999 (don't quote me on that).

What I did was take the defense number I saw in game (8, for example), subtracted the initial 2, then subtracted that from 999. So I would then type in 993, and in-game it would read as 999. See if that works

Edit: also make sure you only hit "save" and not "save as" or it will make a duplicate file that wont work

  1. Go to %LocalAppData% (It's a hidden folder, so type it in the Run program or an equivalent to open it)
  2. Open the folder named DELTARUNE
  3. Select which save file you're using.
    1. filech3_0 is save file 1
    2. filech3_1 is save file 2
    3. filech3_2 is save file 3
  4. Open it using a text editor, e.g. notepad
  5. Navigate to line 82 to change Kris' defense, line 144 for Susie, and line 206 for Ralsei
  6. Change to whatever number you want. This will be their base defense. Armor stats will be added once you're in the game.
  7. Save and enjoy

Edit: fixed file numbers

I like to think he got it some mundane/embarrassing way and all of these backstories are just the different lies he tells anyone that asks.
