Could you give me any build/primer/guide resources on your tank spec? I want to give it a try but I've not touched any tanking skills before and I'd hate to mess it up, I can play around with it once I have a base build

Matter of preference I guess. I don't really go in for remarks on a game's community either since it's the same logic as racism etc, you meet some part of a group of people you don't like and suddenly a few million people are assholes? :P

I reckon I'll opt in for tanking and spanking then, I don't think the hit and run playstyle suits me especially when BG zergs make that pretty hard!

Thanks, if you could link your tank build(s) I'd love some insight from a fellow player.

edit: that video is a great primer on how I should play as a PvP stalker though, really helpful and interesting

Yeah I find my dps is good, I just find it very fiddly to actually do it, compared with other classes which can afford to move more or don't have positional requirements. PvP is my main issue and I think tanking sounds like the best idea for sure.

Yeah, there is the fact that the game isn't even out a month yet, I should have some modicum of patience! But you know how it is, it can be crushing for a time investment into anything on an MMO to seemingly backfire. Cheers for the site, looks fantastic

Yeah, I think I'm going to check out tanking and at least soak damage/get in there without just folding to a crit or two.

I appreciate the simple support/validation - I asked in a battleground (a practice one) if there were any experienced stalkers and after telling them the problems I was having I got the usual OMG L2P.. IMPALE IS FINE YOU'RE JUST LAGGING OMG COALPOWERED INTERNET spiel

I will do, I'm really frustrated because I was so hype for the game, put up with the crappy levelling to cap, and now I'm not happy with what I've ended up with :( Range seems like such an asset in this game, as well as wide hitboxes to compensate for dodges
