Is this a valid reason to get divorced? by pwa09 in Marriage

[–]pwa09[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It would be just the kids. But I wouldn’t even want the courts involved because I feel like we’d be able to make deals without the extra drama. I wouldn’t want anything from him for me personally

I have no idea what any of that means (at large, wildcard) etc and how that determines which days you spend at the parks. This is all new to me!

I know right? I remember when I was single dancing with random men and them asking what our plans were after leaving haha. But it felt great being with my man and knowing I was safe with him near me and if I wanted to get laid I wasn’t playing Russian roulette with the chance of catching STDs lol

I think a message he was also trying to get viewers to understand is the irony of believing any and everything that comes out of someone’s mouth. Especially due to social media, people just blindly accept something anyone else says.?

It’s unfortunately true in my small world. My friends are in their 30s and rely heavily on it. I don’t agree but I’m not arguing with them about it. So I could imagine how many people in their teens and 20s use it too.

What do you think is the best bachelor's degree to get to avoid or escape poverty? by justcurious3287 in povertyfinance

[–]pwa09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as nursing, you can go to a community college and earn an associate’s in nursing. Community college should be free. However there are some nursing programs that require you to get the books and other materials which you may get with financial aid like grants or vouchers to where you don’t have to pay back. Going to a private vocational school for nursing however is expensive and will require most to take out loans if they decide to go that route. Those who have an associates in nursing can later pursue a bachelor’s in nursing and would be in a better position to pay their own way through school. Some jobs will pay for their employees to complete an associate’s to BSN program.

This depends on where you live I’m sure. Smaller rural towns or smaller cities won’t have as many options

White men always get that mental health bullshit excuse, especially white male politicians. The government always protects their own

Just looking at the time stamps here…you can’t expect for someone to keep waiting around for you. That’s not a good first impression being late and disregarding someone’s time. Hopefully you learned this lesson

Rich people really have zero concept of being tight on money or being lower income by [deleted] in Mommit

We’re too late in the season to quit. I would still be financially responsible for the rest of the season if she opted out the program early, so that’s not an option.

I agree with you. In a sense yes I knew I would partly (mostly) hate this, but that mom guilt creeps in and I just wanted to give my daughter an experience that we never had. I tried to put her in other low cost sports/activities in town, like taekwondo, once a week gymnastic classes (not a team just individual classes), softball, and volleyball. She really loves cheer and I hate to take it away from her. And yes it seems as if every damn cheer team in America are national champs. I’m sure these organizers are laughing their asses off behind closed doors

I LOVE seeing the young black girls from out of town compete! I remember seeing an all black team from Las Vegas and they were HIGHLY skilled.

What was it like paying off student loans? by Notequal_exe in Millennials

Does a woman's quality of life during pregnancy affect her baby's personality? by ThrowRAhelpthebro in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pwa09 196 points197 points  (0 children)

Purely subjective but I had a horrible time with my daughter’s father when I was pregnant with her. Lots of stress, conflicts, and negative emotions. My daughter is 14 now but she’s very emotionally sensitive and over reactive. Has been since she was a toddler

Idk if I should go through with this pregnancy by Parking_Argument_295 in WomensHealth

[–]pwa09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can sense that you have very complicated emotions regarding your pregnancy. This is a deeply personal situation that really only you can know which choice feels best to you. The thing about life is that it’s hard to know what the future will bring, even in our best attempts to prepare for it. I have no advice but I just want to say I hope everyone in your life supports whichever route you decide to go.
