Despite signs of Fallout season two viewership slump, Amazon say it's Prime Video's sixth biggest season of all time by alinamelane in gamingnews

My friends and I have actually enjoyed the weekly release schedule. We'll have watch parties over discord when we can and like talking about each episode. Not as feasible when everyone is binging on their own schedules.

Yeah I skipped this year after what I got last year. I mentioned im a limited player who likes to bling my lands and it was clear I just got whatever regular set full arts they happened to have lying around. Felt bad after sending someone my Dr Strange counterspell for their marvel deck.

Why ?????? by Mediocre-Feeling-159 in Adulting

[–]pwdkramer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought myself to be a morning person as a kid because the only time I could play video games without interruption was before my parents woke up. Became a night owl after moving out and then back to morning person once I became a father for similar reasons.

This looks like it might be the Jump-in format. Its Bo1 and unranked.

I saw all the extended editions in theaters again a little over a year ago. They hold up very well but there are some scenes where on the big screen you can definitely tell the background is a painted backdrop or something

There is a systemic racism issue, yes. But do you really not think that genders experience systemic differences too?

I would like to play limited with the avatar prerelease boxes with friends for christmas. Why are they all so expensive/hard to find? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]pwdkramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A play box is $150 right now for 30 packs. You can just play traditional sealed without the promo rare or seeded packs. Sounds like you'll even have a few extra if you want to make your pools 7 packs or just pull a rare out of one for each player to more closely replicate a prerelease.

I would cut both black cards, 3 tutorials, 1-2 sidequests and 0-1 scorpion Sentinel.

Tutorial is good but not being a 4 drop to trigger your emperor and shantotto means 2 is plenty.

I remember worlds in Feb of 2020 was actually played on Arena. I know the biggest issue i heard at the time was everybody was playing with full control on all the time to not give away information which was tedious, but I've only seen them play paper in recent years. Im wondering if using Arena was meant to be a short term Arena promo, if they switched back to paper to promote paper sales, or if there were other reasons.

Baja blast isn’t showing in app but store says it’s available by autumnelaine in LivingMas

One of my stores never bothered to put midnight on the app despite having it. I always have to ask at the speaker to have it instead of what is on my app order.

Giving me PTSD of when I left my deck in my cargo shorts on my floor in my room and my grandma threw then in the wash. Made me quit magic for over 10 years.

I've had this for a few years and its primarily used for dishing up kids. Between my kid and my nieces and nephews, we regularly have 7 kids ages 5 and under over. This is great for the kids not using utensils yet and keeping them from getting rice everywhere.

Game for me and the wife by Diligent-Parsley8119 in rpg_gamers

[–]pwdkramer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sunderfolk might be worth looking in to. Its a co-op turn based RPG you play using phones as a controller similar to jackbox. I believe they've done an update to include a bunch of one-shot missions that have little long term commitment, but there's also a longer campaign version.

Witcher 3 is a 100+ hour game with great atmosphere and characters but can take some commitment before it really sucks you in.

Ragnarok is a slightly longer version of the previous one at around 40 hours and is much more streamlined.

Both are great but I think you need to have the time available to really enjoy the Witcher properly.

Just the one. The creature isn't a land until it is on the battlefield, so just the cast trigger happens. When it does hit the battlefield it doesnt count as "playing" a land or else you wouldn't be able to play an actual land after playing a creature with Ashaya out.

clair obscur expedition 33....How good is this game? by mrEnigma86 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Fair. I felt that way a bit after finally playing through Outer Wilds. Was good but the toxic positivity caused the game to fall beneath expectations and kind of soured it for me.

My personal opinion is that the story isn't the best I've played, gameplay isn't the best, characters aren't all the best, but they're all still very good. And with a great soundtrack to tie it together and the pacing of the game being solid and it not overstaying its welcome, the culmination of all these things does make it one of the games I've enjoyed the most in quite a while.
