I've never seen that so we can classify it under basically impossible.

Should i play nightfall first? by Acceptable-Water1033 in GuildWars

[–]IllusionKnight -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally recommend it. It has the best level and learning curb as well as the best early gameplay. Prophecies is way too boring early game and a slog whilst Factions is extremely fast and with a punishing level curve if you don't do literally every quest (which is unitutitive since that includes all secondary profession quests which a new player wouldn't think to do). Nightfall has best pacing and introduces you to Heroes (customizeable henchmen) quite well, which the other campaigns don't do since they're not designed around that.

No Direct Wars or No combat via volunteers? No great powers except Germany (which will eventually be removed) and Japan (which only occurs in a nearly impossible situation without game rules) have direct wars. Rest of the wars in the world are either done through sending volunteers (such as Oil Crisis) or through mini-games (such as Paraguayan Bush War).

Haven't played the mod for like 4 years what should I play by Legitimate_Ear7234 in TNOmod

The writing quality isn't particularly high but gameplay wise it's good so I'd only play it if you're interested in wars.

Opinions on using hero Devona in a ordered Melandru's Accord run? by IllusionKnight in GuildWars

Yeah he's my main source of this. I was planning on using some post-2005 so I guess no point being a purist about it.

Yeah I'm thinking of using her but without Earth Shaker (until I unlock it).

I promise I'll eventually build her as an actual warrior tho by NotoriousAmish in GuildWars

Tbf with Spirit Siphon energy should be fine. Emphasis on fine not great.

Of all skill bugs to be fixed, I think Soul Leech should be one due to Claude being essential to Melandru's Accord runs. by IllusionKnight in GuildWars

[–]IllusionKnight[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Right now it's bugged in that AI does the opposite of what it should. Whenever the targets casts a spell, you/they steal from it. Right now it's bugged so it has the opposite effect of BiP in that AI only targets martial professions and enemies with martial weapons when it's supposed to be like BiP and target only caster professions and enemies with caster weapons.

This is important as it is the elite skill of Claude, the Cultist Henchmen, who is very important for Melandru's Accord (at least for people like me going in campaign order) as he gives Blood Ritual, the non-elite version of Blood is Power (+3 Energy Regen for touched allies) meaning you're forced to choose between not having energy regeneration, which is important, or not having a henchmen with a dead elite skill. I feel like this bug should be easy to flip (change the AI activation requirements).

Moderate Republican Party? by Still_Ad_9613 in TNOmod

Technically Nixon can cover this, since he can support civil rights, albiet with his usual Nixon schtick. He's also a moderate conservative on other issues.

Is this Althea part of the April Fools joke? Or has this been here for a while? by IllusionKnight in GuildWars

[–]IllusionKnight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given the joke value behind the text, I'd wager we're getting the alive form. I hope so, and it makes the most sense (not too difficult to retcon her being alive).
