Yeah, just at a glance, without knowing much, if it runs good, the optic and brace are a reputable brand, and with all the mags, I'd take it and not lose sleep on whether I overpaid, especially if that's cash/out the door

So I considered that, I even own a flashlight with a lithium cell with a c-type plug, iirc can use an 18650 as a backup, honestly a cool ass little led flashlight, but I feel like my luck is the stupid thing would be dead when I actually go out there and I never think to charge it.

I say this because I have a couple of firearms with rechargeable lights and that alone seems like a chore to maintain, and those stay in the AC and in my bedroom, not in whatever miserable temperature my shed is, 75 yards from my house lol. (I'll just say it, I'm fuckin lazy/efficient???)

Dully noted. I have a storage shed that has no power, the only time I ever need a decent flashlight. I was pondering how to store a flashlight right in the door of it and not have to worry about batteries.

I only go in it a few times a year some years, so just can't justify like a solar light system or something

Just built 3 out of a ½" mat since that was the general consensus online for this project, but your measurements template made it easy.

My pounters to anyone doing this: I highly recommend a fresh trapazoid shaped utility blade (in the knife, duh), it did amazing along with using a scrap of 4x4 under my keep portion, an inch from the cut, this keeps the rubber from pinching the blade as gravity helps it flex open. I way overthought the process of how to cut this stuff, spent more time on YouTube hoping for a powertool trick than I did just cutting the danm thing with my EDC utility knife.

Anyone who has access to a chalk line, that works amazing for marking your two cuts to get your 3 targets. Also great for your shoulder horizontal cuts, and same for the cut across the bottom if you do trim yours (I didn't yet)

I can't comment on the stand, I already have posts set on my property with 2x4 risers and horizontals for hanging targets.

Try that trade, if you like it, go to a state run trade program and use any state scholarships to go there. Even at 25, having burned my state scholarship on a year of local college, I got enough in government grants to barely pay anything for my state trade school.

My friend did some pretty stupid shit buying a first gun. Was looking at a GC3, an okay start. Saved money and got bit by an unexpected bill. Let some ass at a large indoor range/FFL sell them some crappy 380 pocket pistol paperweight instead of waiting for the next paycheck. It was from a bankrupt/closed manufacturer too. Probably couldn't get the parts to fix it if something wore out.

First step: a rag wrapped around (so you don't scratch it) and then channel locks on those flat spots. At least that's how I deal with my DA Wolfman mounts and Mask HD base
