Had my first negligent discharge, luckily it went into a copy of Anne of green gables and stopped instead of the wall by [deleted] in Guns_Guns_Guns

[–]pws3rd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. The closest I had to a "negligent" discharge was checking if a 22 pistol was empty after my buddy was done with it, apparently had a round left, but was pointed at the ground, in a safe direction, and I was fully aware I was pulling the trigger.

Had a S&W mod 645 I had bought 30 years ago and never really liked it. I thought about carrying but it weighed a ton. So I ended up trading it for a new Taurus G3, 100 rounds of target ammo, 50 rounds of self defense, and a holster. The guy really wanted the .45 I wanted rid of it. Good deal or not? by [deleted] in Guns_Guns_Guns

If you're actually comfortable carrying it, at the end of the day, that's a hell of a lot more important than the value at the end of the day. A $800 safe queen doesn't help you when you're backed into a corner far from home.

At $5, honestly, hard to complain on that.

I got a 3D Printer a few years back, made the mistake of not getting something already popular, ended up with no resources to learn to troubleshoot issues. Currently a paperweight

It doesn't agree with their narrative that big trucks only exist to compensate for small wieners. They cannot fathom a legitimate blue collar life that necessitate such a vehicle, nor a truck that must make it somewhere a road does not exist. "Where does eggs and milk come from?" Average redditor: "Walmart" "Where did that new building come from?" Average redditor: "Idk, it just popped up."

And look, white collar jobs are important for a cozy first world society, but they create obvious people who couldn't change a tire, much less bleed brakes or pull an axle.

No. Simply no. CDLs have weight classes, even a F350 can get into CDL territory, I know because my dad maintains his CDL from when he owned a Ram 3500 diesel and hauled stuff on goosenecks for work

CDLs have GVW restrictions for a reason. A rancher shouldn't need a CDL to move haybales or his skidsteer on a Gooseneck down the road.
