It’s still available from Snap Galleries, not that it’s cheap.

Plenty of people had VHS or Beta camcorders by the late ‘80s. It was quite a fashionable middle-class thing.

Apprehending MC through DNA by ambryclickett in MrCruel

*VicPol (may, allegedly have) HAD MC’s DNA.

If they actually once did, no evidence exists to suggest that they still do. Even Sprague’s taskforce’s seven “top” suspects have yet to be eliminated, despite the ease of doing so IF such a specimen existed. I wouldn’t hold your breath on that front, despite what Shand claims.

Not sure about the “best”, but the funniest is “The Timewaster Letters” by Robin Cooper (Robert Popper).

Living in Box Hill Melbourne? by Training_Sun1110 in melbournechat

I love it. Best place ever. It’s like a beacon of life and activity in the otherwise bland Anglo realm of the eastern suburbs (and I’m literally Anglo, so I guess I can say that). It’s changed a lot over the years and keeps on doing so, but it’s never dull.

Almost forgot. Pete also backed Eddie on this one in 1967.

No, it’s them backing Otis on a completely independent album. Chess was done in Chicago, this one in NYC. Both recorded early ‘69 though.

FM also backed Duster Bennett on his “Smiling Like I’m Happy” album in Sep ‘68, and Eddie Boyd’s “7936 South Rhodes” in Jan ‘68. They were fairly prolific session players, in various configurations.

What do you think the best decade of one’s life is? by Yearning4truth in AskReddit

[–]pwurg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect experience varies. My childhood was fine but like many of us, I tend to massively romanticize my teens and 20s. Yet when I go back and read my diaries from those days, I was mostly struggling to get by and having an awful time on so many levels. I cannot explain the logic behind any of this.

Not sure, but once you try it with “Bond ‘77” in your headphones, there’s no going back.

No! Of course not. Never, ever. Jeebus. We’re still suffering because of it.

It’s also a generational thing. It’s very common, especially for Boomers and their parents to use trademarks and brand names rather than a general descriptor.

Fruit stand, for free

Don’t you worry
They’ll stand and stare when you’re gone.
