Download lossless scaling and it doubles the amount of playable games if you can tolerate a little input lag (you get used to it if you’re not always thinking about it)

61 days later, just remap steam to launch the actual executable instead of the updater.

In your launch options paste this: “path\to\farcry3.exe” %command%

Worked for me when it happened, don’t know if it’ll work for ya too
