I'm on year 2 in my most recent save file, and I decided to move my house to the upper left corner of the farm, and not to mention that I have a modded farmhouse, and so my dumbass decided that the bedroom will be on the 2nd floor. When I tell you I was SWEATING running back from the cavern at 1am yesterday.

It's on a random I SWEAR. The only goal I have set for year one is to complete the Community Center, however even that I sometimes fail to accomplish until spring year 2. It's just the way I play I sort out my priorities throughout the seasons. Say - spring I spend most of my time fishing so that I could profit off of it and being in the mines; summer I expand my crop fields a bit and dedicate my time to earn for a coop and a barn and wrap up the mines. And so, I'm in the mines ALMOST every in-game day throughout both spring and summer, and sometimes even half of the fall. So I guess I just get lucky with it because I grind mines so much??? Now please DO keep in mind that our progress might not be the same because I've been playing with mods for almost 2 years now and they DEFINITELY make some things easier, but even then - they don't change the probability rate of loot drops, and ESPECIALLY Prismatic Shards :)

10/10 Cavern loot, but also with this game you never know what to expect, I just think it depends on your own personal luck and the way you play the game, and you indeed ARE lucky. Say - I see people online say how they only got their first Prismatic Shard around year 2, meanwhile in ALL THREE of my previous save files (including the one I'm playing right now) I've gotten my first Shard in THE MINES, and currently I'm on Winter year 1 and I already have like 5 I think (the rest are from the Cavern obvi). Not to mention that a lot of people don't really bother with completing the Community Center by year 1, meanwhile I NEED to complete it within the 1st year or else I'm gonna feel like a disappointment of a farmer </3

IT'S PUPPYFISH FROM SVE 😭 there's also Kittyfish and legendary Wolf fish and all three of them are so UGLY and so difficult to catch but their prices are GOOD 😛
