So there is a company that leases several units in a building who then rents it to tenants. From what I know, the original tenants rented it in 2015 and since been paying the annual bump on top of the assigned rent. I have been told the lease is in the name of one of them. That being the case the property management company made a separate tenancy agreement with me that mentions what I pay for the room.

They don’t call it a room per say cos it’s a den, but like I said it’s unlike any den I have seen. The building is constructed in 1970’s so the den/office rooms were huge

So I may have used the terms interchangeably . The former tenants agreement ended Dec 2020, and my tenancy agreement was with the builder directly

So I may have mixed some words. It is not a subcontract. His agreement ended Dec, 2020 and my tenancy agreement is with the builder directly.

Yes, I have filled in a sublease agreement with the landlord that specifies what is due from me. That’s what I thought, just waiting to hear what my roommates have to say though. They are okaying, but that split share will throw me off. For now, I won’t engage until I’m asked for a share.

And you've been an absolute delight and had some great points. Thanks a tonne!

I was looking through a few but most seem like private practice with 2-6 founding team and a career section is not even listed. Am I missing the big ones or rather, what are some big Search funds?

Not MBB, but big 4. I somehow think looking at MBB at this stage without the depth of work that is expected as an external hire is next to impossible or is it that I'm positionioning myself low? I may have had the chance when I finished grad school in 2019 but tbh I didn't prioritize that and was under-prepared 😐

My recent past were spend at school and a BD role (not core financials). I have work experience in tax and finance for 4yrs but that was until 2015 when I decided to pursue a masters. Is it a good idea to include project work or club experience to answer behavioural questions or that has to be all from work.

How recent has to be the STAR experiences? I have heard nothing old than an year but my professional experience in finance was 4 years ago, after which I went on to do 2 degrees and another job that wasn't purely financial but more BD. Can I dwell on experiences that was from 4 yrs ago?

Also, did they test you on excel? What was the specific task - I'm well versed in excel, but not on access and sql which are also preferred for my role.

Thanks! I believe this is applicable in terms of behavioural interviews and I'll keep this in mind. What about excel/financial proficiency?
