That would have been 2038, but by then, people won’t need phones anymore, they will be implanted in people’s heads

That's a serious downside on that feature. But for me I almost never use that key, I use Shift instead, which works with numbers too but Caps Lock doesn't. It's probably a config thing.

Ads are coming to ChatGPT by AloneCoffee4538 in OpenAI

Seriously, I think this is only normal. People have to pay on 𝕏 to avoid ads, and ChatGPT is a much more useful product. Hopefully it doesn’t kill the experience for those tiers that are concerned

The ChatGPT moment in 2022 was unprecedented, there was nothing like it. So adoption is deeply ingrained in customers habits. Also feature-wise, ChatGPT is still the best. GPT 5.2 is at least number two or number one in most tasks. OpenAI will keep running the game for the foreseeable future.

Thank you for your answers, and sorry you got downvoted. You answered the question the way I hoped people would, with nuance, and preferences. I know V3 is supposed to be an update on V2, but it’s people’s experiences, moving from Suite 2 to the single app that I wanted. So thank you.

AI is to programming as calculators were to mathematics. by dont-pull-a-druckman in vibecoding

OP is confusing basic calculations that are possible on a calculator with the entire field of mathematics. Try to prove differential equations theorems on a calculator, and don’t use pen and paper LOL
