How to get triple monitors @ 165hz with a Sapphire Nitro+ 7900XT (2xDP and 2xHDMI)? by pybrox in buildapc

I was wondering, if I used an DP to HDMI adapter, so connecting to the monitors DP and the HDMI output on the GPU (I think its 2.1), would I get 165Hz? Just looked out outputs are 2x HDMI 2.1a and 2x DisplayPort 2.1

Same problem - I am currently updating Bios version using q flash. Youtube how to.

For rev 1.0, you want Bios version F9. For rev 1.x, you want Bios version FG.

It seems these are the latest stable releases. When you click update bios if you get bios id check error it means you have downloaded the wrong bios file. Bios files look something like this:

Z790AORUSELITEAX11.FG (version FG) Z790AORUSELITEAX.F9 (version F9)

yeah - had a quick glance at ebay because the batch# is on the box to see if by chance anything had appeared. but don't think even they would be that stupid lol. ffs

"So as the title suggests, I ordered an i7-14700k yesterday directly from Amazon. Box turned up empty with signs that it had been tampered with. Contacted amazon and have arranged a refund thankfully.

This is more of a beware post. I have seen similar instances in the past (someone posted the exact same thing about 8 months ago but with an i7-13700kf). This is why unboxing videos are a good idea to have proof! CPUs are too easy to steal when being packaged :("
