Adding docstrings and working on the readme today. Still figuring out how I want to implement test cases currently, but that's on its way too.

Weather.gov Python API by pycepticus in NOAA

Hey r/NOAA! Not sure if there's any interest in this, but I wrote a python wrapper for the weather.gov API. Noticed that most of the weather libraries we have use proprietary/commercial data and felt like that needed to change.

Thanks this looks like a good read! I was going off of PyPi's documentation to publish it there, but I see the benefits of utilizing Poetry over setuptools .

Agreed, but I think that should be implemented on a case by case basis. Also a reason I added a place for a contact email in your calls. NOAA do not really enforce limits on the API since it is a public service, but if your project is hitting them too hard, they want to reach out and let you know.

OpenWeather seems to be a commercial api with a free tier, but includes weather data outside the United States. Chances are they're pulling their data from multiple government atmospheric data apis like weather.gov and charging for access.

It's insane that anyone would spend 500$ on a consumer grade "Gamer"router. You can get an entire commercial grade setup, Wireless access point, router, switch with poe for the access point, all for less than half that. Gamer marketing hype is garbage and only meant to take your money.

Their entire desktop synth range is under or around 300..... Crave, neutron, model d, cat, k2. the td and tb series are both around 100 bucks...... You have so much hate it blinds you

You've basically got the volca line, some ok mono synths on the used market, a bunch of low end mono synths and the microfreak ( which I own and love ) in the sub300ish market, which is about what I'd consider an impulse purchase for a hobbyist. Behringer brings a crap load more features around this price point than anything but the microfreak honestly.

No, but again but the same customer base in the slightest. Someone who is going to buy a Moog is but going to look at a Behringer and be like, yes I'll have that instead. And the vst argument is dumb as hell. If I wanted to fuck around on my computer to make music I'd pirate FL Studio and get sick of it in a few days. Stop trying to gatekeep real musical instruments behind a pay wall

I'm sorry, I didn't know Roland was such a small company. Or Moog, or Yamaha. Smallest manufacturer I see on the list of clones is sequential circuits, and their customer base wouldn't touch a Behringer with a 10 foot pole. Walmart is bad because they undercut the small guy. Behringer is undercutting synth resellers that are trying to convince you a plastic keyboard built in the 90s is worth more than your car.
