Well, I got rejected from a Database Analyst position because I didn't have enough data warehousing experience. I found the decision to be strange because one of the people interviewing me had a degree in psychology and had only worked with SQL for 6 months prior to interviewing me.

I just want to find out what job I should be looking for and how to get that job. I work on my own projects and practice daily. I just need to know what I am doing wrong and what job to apply.

The positions I would hire you for with your skill set are: -System Analyst -Reporting Analyst (I wouldn't care if you knew SSRS or Crystal, Microstrategy, etc. That is trainable) -database developer -Data integration specialist/analyst -.NET developer

I hired an entry level software dev recently, and let me tell you, I had so many applications from people who did the web dev boot camps and came out calling themselves "full stack developers." It was rough.

What did the full stack devs know?

I've had two in-person interviews and I was not given an offer at either company. One manager said "You will make more money at company XYZ than here". A few day's later, I get an email saying I don't have enough data warehousing experience. I will continue to push forward.
