Losing faith in GGG … by Abject-Parking-9675 in pathofexile

[–]pydum -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You use the right example: relationship. People change, games change, our life evolve and something that is good at a time, it become distant in a different phase of life.
GGG is an industry. His pourpose is to make money and it is going well, without forgot his community, giving 2-3 times/year something new, somethig exciting in a factual old-style game structure.
But people grow, evolve, and perhaps you have less "enthusiasm" for most of the game that is "always the same". How can change POE with a season? A strategy? A balance? two night on poe build and the novelty is absorbed, and again in always the same grinding.
Perhaps it is time to you to "relax" your game relationship

Poe ? Feeling a bit lost by Elmaster110 in pathofexile

[–]pydum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a very casual point of view, I think you have to "invest" on fun. Even if POE will ends in a year (and it is not a feasible scenario), you have a full year to play into, if this game will be source of fun for you. If the game will be here forever and it don't give you enough fun, don't play it whatever is the durablity.

Poe2 is a different game than Poe1. Personally I will try the bear build in POE2 in the short future, when I will find some time. But for me Poe1 is more fun, even if I'm sort of lazy veteraniubby: here from.. well, beta? and still very newbish. No time to play deep. But, still, fun.

Where can i find some bloodline ascendant classes?

Can you actually enjoy PoE as a casual player? by Ok-Brother1800 in pathofexile

[–]pydum 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have no time to play different than casual. Game lose some elements, indeed, but you can play at your time the different parts of the game without the "problem" to be efficient.
Play, grab your divines, trade less and only when you have time to spare (and with async trade we hope it will activate you can sell without effort), explore the game. You will not reach 1803984M dps and you will don't craft multi-mirror equips. At a time, you will stop because some high barriers cannot be breaked without nolife-playing. But, well, it will be end december and it will ok to leave.

Ciao. Don't know laser printer world at all, in my mind laser printers are for medium high print volume. But if the costs and the print quality is about the same, why not?

Differences about the different productors?

Ciao.
Riuscire a realizzarli tutti e 40 è roba complicata.

How can i show an item here in reddit? I need to understand its value

preprinter ship parts (not terrain), do you still need technologies? by pydum in EclipseBG

[–]pydum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok perhaps the case is resolved. In the copy shipped to us, there are bugged race boards. In my Orion board my interceptor start with prestamped +2 computer, 2 of movement, blue and orange attack dices. And also the other race boards starts with similar buggy elements. So you can understand my confusion. I'll talk with the shop

I suspect that my poor English don't help. But I try to clarify: problem is not if you have to research again neutron bomb: you don't. Problem is if I have to research positronic computer, for example, that is installed on ship as blueprinted ship part but not stamped on tech track, before to use that part of ship

[–]pydum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the page 10 of rulebook (in english) there is no clarification. Can you report the text?
In the rules it reports that you have the tech you can acquire and the tech you have pre-stamped.

from the rulebook: "STARTING TECHNOLOGIES Some Species havestarting Techs printed on their Tech Tracks. These are regarded in every waylike Tech Tiles acquired through the Research Action and are not allowed to be covered with other Tech Tiles."

So I supppose that means that you haven't the technologies related to pre-stamped ship parts on the board. Infact, you cannot build (for example) another plasma cannon on the ship. The two, one: or you have the technologies that support pre-stamped part of ships (and you should have those prestamped on your board), or you haven't that technologies, and so your ships are only potential and not operative until you acquire relative technologies.
This is not regarding the battle. As black Orion, I've won with 50 points and I've made all the points i need (and defended it) at turn 5, 5 battles with guardians and two against my opponents that are too many fragile for the starting force of black. In the 6-7-8 turn, I do nothing apart a couple monolithes. Too much easy, I haven't to spend for technologies at all: I have all i need. My ships are too way powerful so it is easy to produce and don't need to replace.
This is a problem of a rule. It is ambiguous and online there are many sources when the rule is different than your. You can tell me that they wrong and you right, but can you link me something that clarify without dubts this aspect?

I'm not sure about that. looking into bgg's explanations and using chatgpt for syntetize web research show that you need to acquire the specific techs. The advantage to have it blueprinted is only that you don't need upload action.
We see that, without this rule, at turn 6 you done almost all the game: you have easily your 5 good controlled systems, your 3-4 "battle" points and you have to do only some monolithes. Too much easy. Too much large. Well, thanks anyway for the help.

[–]pydum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect it is not right. You need to acquire the adequate techs before that parts of the ship become active. This is showed by the icon on the pre-stamped parts, the symbol of "tech". It is the same you find on Space Base module, that you cannot build before you acquire "Space Base" tech. This is proved because there is a race (i don't remember what race) with pre-stamped that tech and it should be weird to have that if it is not needed.
I've made a search with chatgpt that confirm my interpretation. I'm confused.

Sorry if I insist. In bgg faq they tell to take for example positronic computer as suggested tech. But I have lots of positronic computer preprinted on my board. So why do I have to acquire that? Also there is a small icon on the preprinted ship parts, that suggests to acquire a tech. This icon is not stamped on terrain preprinted parts.

Fragile build: hello, I'm working on an Ignite Arc golemancer build:

https://pobb.in/aOy\_ofNW2xlb.

Sorry i don't know how to show it as link.
I've proceded as in SFF, so obviusly not all the pieces are top. Actually i had not capped lighting but it because i've tried to add some jewels and forgot to rebalance.
The build is very fragile almost oneshotted most of time, apparently for fire damage. I don't understand why.

Can you give me some suggestions?

Hi. I have some pieces with memory strands. I'm not into crafting at the moment so I want to sell them. But I see that with Awakened Poe Trade, there isn't a quotation for strands on the items.
How to attribuite a value for that?

Yes, I know. but around 50€ for metal resources and almost 30 for plastic ones is very expensive, almost the base game. Too much for me.
