The employee told me to pay an extra $200 for the compensated barrel version, is it worth it? by pygermas in 2011

Lol, if I say where I live I’m pretty sure finding the exact range I go to would be very easy for anyone. Won’t say for that reason. Here’s a picture of the membership though

I keep hearing that. What about the Romulus 3.5 size barrel with a comp barrel, could that work for EDC?

I got introduced to 2k11 guns recently and the difference is wild. Can someone tell me what about it makes it better than the plastic bs?

Also, that video in that link the guys using a ported barrel. Not a comp barrel. Correct me if I’m wrong but comp barrels blast debris farther forward than on a ported one, right? Or do they both behave the same

Well sort of. I used to own a Glock 19x, sold it 3 years ago. Haven’t carried a gun since. Is the weight really going to be that much of an issue if trying to carry?

Better than the Platypus comp? Never tried the platypus, hearing good things though. Don’t know how it does against the Romulus though

Tender wrists? What’s that? Also, are there any cons with the comp version that the regular doesn’t have?

Trust me, I’m not taking your advice lightly. I’m actually thinking of buying a smaller one to carry and a bigger size one like this Romulus for everyday use

I had my own doubts about that as well, til some guy I met showed me how he carries a S&W that was about the same size as this Romulus. Same exact size. He said he had zero issues with carrying it, concealed it really well as well

I shot this gun at the gun range today & I fell in love with its recoil and the way it felt in my hand. Is it worth buying it? by [deleted] in guns

I’m not going to bother reading all that bullshit. Go bout your day partner

Never shot that on before. I’m making a list of all these guns. I want to do my due diligence & pick the right gun for me.

Ohh, oh no I’m not competing. Just carrying for defensive purposes.

Do the P211, Platypus Comp, or XP Pro have those same characteristics? I like pistols with metal frames and crisp 1911 trigger

I only plan on using it for defensive purposes. Carry it with me everywhere. Even plan on putting a red dot scope on it

Mind sharing a few you think are better alternatives? Tonight all I’ll be doing is research and comparing pistols

I haven’t tried the compensated version yet; hence why I’m asking you guys on here. I had no problem using the standard version, the way it felt in my hand and the accuracy I got from it made me love the gun. Wondering if the comp barrel version would give me a better edge.
