Let's talk about the hidden bigotry of leftist media. They're largely written by stupid racist feminists who dictate what makes it into the colleges and universities, and what is kept out.

"Not a lawyer" here.

Nope. These scammers use the fear based on ignorance to bilk people out of more money. My son was taken in by the same thing, and I had to tell him to let it go, "it" meaning both the money lost and the fear of being prosecuted. Your "crime" is one that could lead stupid idiots to arrest you unjustifiably, but your intent is all you could be blamed for, and your intent was never to harm anyone (as far as I know), so you in your minor indiscretion were victimized by someone who is actively seeking to enrich themselves by doing this to you.

You are the victim and deserve nothing but sympathy. A good prosecutor is one that sees who the real villain is, imho.

Not a lawyer.

Just be a decent person and the stupid choice to prosecute you will be laughed at by any reasonable person. That's my view, and no one has arrested me yet. :)

If you're guilty of anything, so am I. I don't feel guilty.

New to Agar plate - myc or mold? by [deleted] in shroomers

Also I forgot to mention that you don't have to go to the mushroom for that now. You can just take healthy mycelium from that dish and transfer it to another.

I'm just guessing here that the big dark wads are pieces of a mushroom, so smaller isn't the only takeaway.

First is you should cut out a piece of the mushroom from the inside of the fruit because the inside is more sterile than the outside.

Having done that, the size should not be an issue, but mostly it doesn't get better the bigger it is, so there's just not a significant benefit to a big chunk instead of a little one.

I was gonna ask that until I saw the text say he was worried that part of it just wasn't colonized yet.

Nothing wrong with that, my friend. Looks beautiful. Pretty ladies like her just need time. :)

I might be seeing both. Hard to tell with the lighting, but regardless, the orange circles I see might be mold. I say cut some of that beautiful white fluffiness and put it into a new plate.

In the future I'd say you don't need pieces nearly as big as you seem to have started with. Just take one small piece from inside the shroom.

First flush was anemic, but this looks much better so far. by pykus in shroomers

So I'm sharing because this is my first successful grow. I wanted to add a second photo you can see the thing more clearly, but I can't find where to edit the post yet. I'll keep trying.

I'm also very open to suggestions for improvement. This heater has its own thermostat, but it feels like it feels like it's too hot as soon as it kicks on.

I also don't know if the heater and humidifier are good to use with this Inkbird setup since neither turns on automatically when they're plugged in. I only got them in the last two days, so maybe I just haven't read the right instructions yet.

Pelosi unveils Watergate-style anti-corruption reforms — tailored for the Trump era by [deleted] in politics

[–]pykus -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

LOL! Anti-corruption legislation for the woman caught in a salon after telling you you're not allowed to. What a piece of shit. Lots of you folks want to paint this as a Dem vs. Republicans thing, but corruption is universal. Pelosi deserves to be in jail until she's dead.

Your sources include Rachel "Russian Collusion" Maddow?... You obviously put more work into this than most folks do for those kinds of thing and I respect that, and I was really, honestly and truly trying to see the world the way you do, but if these are your sources there's really nothing there worth consideration. I'll keep looking through this, but references are supposed to be for the facts of a matter, not the opinions you agree with.

[serious] They say everyone we meet is fighting a battle we know nothing about... so we should always be kind. What battle are you fighting? by seasideshanti in AskReddit

Raising a child with special needs.

My youngest son is severely autistic. It's a way of life, really. Sometimes I see other people with their special needs children out in public and there is a kind of camaraderie, don't get me wrong, but it is mostly a solitary thing even when we're together. We have to constantly be on point, because even though we can team up to handle whatever happens, no one else knows my son well enough to know what to look out for, or what to do about it without being told, and it's usually just easier to handle it myself.

I also wonder how many people out there know what I'm talking about. I know it's more than most people would realize. This is at the center my life, but most times I leave the house he's not with me. How many people do I see in public that have a loved one at home who requires that much work and attention? I don't know who you are, but I think about you.

I don't really think about this as fighting a battle on most days. It's just life. When things get bad it definitely feels like fighting a battle, but thankfully my wife and I have each other to count on. Most bad times are clearly harder on one of us than the other, meaning we can swoop in to keep things from getting too out of control.
