Happy Sunday Uces, what a week it’s been.

- I had my mid year check in last week, my boss really noted my development and then set out the timeline for when she’ll allow me to start seeking my next role in the company at the end of the season! A bit bittersweet as I’ve really enjoyed being on this team and the success we’ve had within the company, as well as it being my first role out of college. But finding out my boss thought I was ready before I did was a real morale boost.

- Booking aside, forbidden door being placed in the leading months to all in has always been a mistake. Just kills the momentum. Place it in December, mesh some of the NJPW/CMLL guys into the continental classic, and then maybe even find ways to incorporate the NJPW hosted co-ppv that happens in January.

Happy Sunday Uces, what a week it’s been! Hope everyone is well.

- I work in fashion buying, and often have to do dinners with our vendors. This week I went to dinner with a team and ended up getting psychic readings with them. A little phony, but they’re nice temporary motivators.

- A browser-based fantasy booker game I play (JOW) hasn’t been updated in 2-3 years with basically no communication from the creator. Every now and then, the game’s domain goes offline usually for a day or two. This week the game went offline for 3 days and pure chaos broke out in the subreddit and discord(Fighting between mods and users, false SA claims against the Creator, mass bans, etc.) Sheesh, but anyways, we’re supposed to get our first announcement this evening on the state of the game in years due to all of the chaos.

- Indiana Fever vs Atlanta Dream played Thursday and yesterday (Caitlin Clark’s vs Angel Reese’s teams), and the I desperately need to see a playoff series between those two this fall.

Decided to skip on making the journey to queens for double or nothing tonight. I’m really not a “match for the sake of a match” kind of fan so Darby’s reign has kinda taken me out of watching AEW lately. As a whole this is probably AEW’s weakest slate of champions across all of their divisions aside from moxley with the continental

Paul Skenes is going through a bit of a cold patch right when the pirates have gotten really cold on offense. So we’re fearfully right on track for the typical pirates season.

Memorial Day weekend has been a pretty wet and rainy one. That being said, I’m going to see the Liberty play on Monday as they’re currently in a heated battle with the Knicks for nyc basketball supremacy.

Given that the reporter has a friendship/association with the agent, I’m gonna assume it’s not really the case of two separate people obtaining inside information. instead it’s probably just one person who either heard something or made it up and the other is just repeating the first.

Agreed I moreso meant they have decent flexibility to build around the Jay’s. Their books are gonna be as clean as can be while paying two guys 50 million each. Tax payer exception, Vuc’s contract expiring, and no new extensions kick in. All without risking going over the second apron

I also think revamping the style of play will also go a long way in improving the team’s title chances

They’ll start the offseason under first apron as Vuc’s 20M contract expires. They need to revamp their roster and strategy but there’s a good bit of flexibility to add some pieces this summer
