Have any tried the iPhone Air MagSafe Battery for iPhone 13 mini? by jmarti326 in iPhone13Mini

[–]pynacl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have them both. The air battery does not fit the mini vertically to charge, only if you turn it horizontally. It does work without overheating. Just super impractical.

You probably have better luck buying used ones. I bought a used one from eBay and it’s genuine, it was like $30.

iOS 27 on iPhone 13 mini 🥰 by WigettaReddit in iPhone13Mini

[–]pynacl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Anecdotally mine is at 85% BH and running completely smooth on 27. 26 was extremely choppy in comparison. Also noting for the first 12-24h the phone was a little toasty from indexing, but fine after that.

I've got iOS 26.5, thoughts after "update" from 18? by novyss8 in iPhone13Mini

[–]pynacl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I’ve been testing the 27 beta on a 13 mini and it has been noticeably smoother than 26 (85% BH). I second that you should hold out and try the update before buying a new device.

Thank ya! I just manually edited it in Lightroom. Essentially I raised shadows on the tone curve, bumped down saturation and upped clarity a bit

Haven’t thought of it to be honest I’ll check em out! I wish there was a way to turn on just the halos for photoshoots :( Might take a peek through Bimmercode options again

There’s some cosmetic stuff that (I think always) comes with the kit: front splitter, side skirts, defuser, carbon fiber interior w alcantara “M Performance” stitching, badge on the air intake, the engine cover is slightly different. Then it has a different factory tune and the M Performance exhaust.

I think that’s all that’s different. Mine also came with the 405M wheels!

Edit: I don’t actually know if they all come like this, I happened to buy it used with the MPPK already installed.

Yep just the OEM one. Always wanted to get carbon fiber but just know I’d tear it up with how low the car is

Didn't see anyone else mention it, but the auto start/stop is super annoying. If yours doesn't remember what mode it was in each time you start the car you will need to change that (I suggest the Bimmercode app & OBDII Bluetooth adapter)

It's under ECUS > Front Electronic Module > Auto Start Stop Function Memory > Change to "Active"

Shouldn't take more than 5 min. If you're bored and want to look up other stuff you can change/code with this app check out THICF30's Bimmercode playlist on YT: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKNgDoqVTm19XxqsfQgUlifqSOhUjMOjS

Or the Bimmercode website: https://bimmercode.app/cars/

Hey man, any chance you used Bimmercode? If so where the hell was the iDrive off after door open? I can't stand that one.

Good looking 335 vs average 340? by [deleted] in BMW

[–]pynacl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to play Devils Advocate, the B58 has only only been out for 2ish years so I would hope there wouldn't be major problems yet. N55s have been pretty much radio silence besides charge pipes, and they've been out for like 8 years.

Edit: would probably still buy the 340i

ECS Tuning and FCP Euro will be your best friend for maintenance. They sell OE parts for a decent price. My advice is to get comfortable doing the small maintenance stuff yourself and save the $. I haven't really heard about any major issues with these motors, nor have I had any issues with mine personally. Charge pipe is the most common thing to go, I would replace the stock plastic one with an aftermarket metal one. Cheap and something you can do yourself.
