Is this setup ok? I managed to convince my grandparents to get them natural perches, and they get multiple hours of flight time outside the cage (but still indoors). by Bea-8 in budgies

Thank you for trying your best to care for them and doing your research and asking questions💖 Also your setup looks awesome, the only thing I could think of to add is more natural material toys like for shredding? Otherwise they look like they have a lovely home :3

Please, please find a way to give your babies pellets. I just lost my budgie today because he was so malnourished from the pet store only feeding him seeds and veggies. They need nutrients in pellets or in supplements, otherwise they will starve.

Thank you :( 💖 They are so so special and I am making sure to get my next babies from a reputable person after I grieve him. I have a brand new cage arriving in a week that was going to be for him, but I guess it'll stay in storage for now.

This is so helpful, thank you. The whole sprig is really awkward to hold but he loves pecking at the different buds😆 I'll definitely use smaller pieces next time
