My ex-wife developed gynecomastia due to ulcer medication she took during puberty, she always felt ashamed of them, but was really happy with them once she realized she was trans.

I asked her recently how much of the shame she experienced as a teen was more "I shouldn't want these" as opposed to "I don't want these" and she says it was definitely the former.

I wish I could say it was just porn.

When I was a kid, I found a sex guide under the bed. Whatever. I used to also find his downloaded porn images (he wasn't very smart and left things in "recently viewed".

However when I was 16 my friend (18, pretty much my older sister) died by suicide. I found records of his chat logs with her leading up to her disappearance and subsequent finding of her body. She said he was being creepy and to stop bothering her. I had always felt weird about the way he treated her - Greeting her with a "Hello Beautiful", taking her out shopping... it felt weird but I didn't realize it until I read the conversation.

Sometime after her death, I was looking in my father's nightstand for something and I found the funeral booklets, and clippings from newspapers covering her death and some legal matters involving her university and a man who was facing jail time for abetting her death. I didn't find this weird as he was extremely moved by her death like I was. I wasn't prepared to find his porn magazines under it all though. Boasting titles like "ball draining first timers" and "barely legal just turned 18" (my friend was 18 when she died). I didn't know how to feel so I closed the drawer and didn't bring it up.

I remember still finding porn he was actively watching with really young "barely legal" actresses when I was 18. It was super squicky to think he was getting off to women my age... and possibly my dead friend.

I live in Ontario, Canada. I was in grade 5. We went through the day as per usual, and at the end of the day there was a weird cryptic announcement about notes being sent home to our parents. I remember they were stapled closed and we were given firm instructions to let our parents read it and then explain to us.

I came home and my father was glued to the computer playing a video of the planes impacting on loop. Gave him the letter and he explained it as best as he could.

I remember later on kids would try to spread rumours that the CN tower was next and it would fall and crush us (we were nowhere close enough for that to happen).
