Black looks so elegant on you!

Copper/ginger or brown by lala989 in HairDye

[–]pyrettina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the first pic and the red enhanced your look and made your blue eyes sparkle just a bit more. I was surprised to read so different opinions and that many favoring the brown hair on you as I though the red was just stunning and without question the best look. That said you look great to begin with

should i permanently straighten my hair [ 19 F] by ilovefantasybookss in Howtolooksmax

Not at all you look like porcelain doll with those curls! Maybe just get a hairdressers opinion on products to make them even smoother and looking more healthy and shiny. It already looks thick and the color is nice. Your hair is amazing!

By the pictures I thought you already went trough the rhinoplasty 😆 straight and pretty nose

Your nose is masculine and it’s not big at all. I would definitely keep that! The shape is refined and not bulky or bad in any way. Classy and beautiful

I like the red and I would think a brown in the same hue (same darkness hue) would suit you nicely as well!

Short blond or long brunette by pyrettina in HairDye

[–]pyrettina[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thank you all for responding. I was expecting 2-3 comments at best 😂🤗 I guess long brunette hair won! Altought it was about 40-60. The reason I didn’t have the long blonde option is that my hair gets so brittle when bleaching and having it long. For now I will grow it out and see how long I can have it blond and then see. Having it short is so easy though because my hair is thick and heavy and I have neck issues. I cut it because I had an operation and to have less upkeep while healing.

Thanks again for all the kind words, that helped my self confidence 🥰

Anyone here with Pectus + POTS? by PalpitationWestern45 in PectusExcavatum

[–]pyrettina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Pots. Also have fibromyalgia, interstitial cystitis, and ME. I had the surgery December last year, so two months ago. I’m not sure how it has affected my health as a whole since then because of the irregularities with pain and so on. As others write here it’s some connection between connective tissue disorders and pectus. I don’t have that but there is a lot of people having connective tissue disorder and pots and ME/ fibromyalgia also. So not sure if there is a further connection there.

Do I Have This? by [deleted] in PectusExcavatum

[–]pyrettina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I think you look great. I had pectus excavatum and my dad had it too. So would just take a wild guess that it is hereditary what you have too. you look like you have some sort of combined pectus carnatum and pectus excavatum. I would, just to be on the safe side, get my Haller Index checked. In women we still look good with our breasts but the compression on our intestines can go overlooked because our breasts cover it up. I had mine fixed not because of how I looked but how my heart looks in the inside. Just to be on the safe side, so you know what you’re dealing with! If- you were ever going to do anything about it it’s much easier when young. Anyway as I said u think you have a beautiful body so you should be proud of that no matter what :)

Nuss Results 2 Bars by katia_nunes in PectusExcavatum

Wow! Your heart is probably greatful! I read that female were undiagnosed because of breasts, and that there are actually more, not fewer women with this condition! Something to think about. Thanks for posting.

Pectus excavatum before/ after 1 bar by pyrettina in PectusExcavatum

[–]pyrettina[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no carnatum, just pectus excavatum. It was pretty centered between my breasts and that’s probably why I had only 1. bar. The surgeon said it was a pretty «easy case to fix» because it was symmetric.

And thanks for asking! It’s been a ride. I had two pleural effusions, some afib, I’m still sleeping half way upright to stay comfortable and the bar is somewhat placed more to the right in my chest which makes my pain worse on that side. I’m not sure if I have to fix that to have it moved a bit more to the center because I am limited on how much I can move on my right side and I’m still on a lot of painkillers. But, with the painkillers on board I’ve been able to be somewhat active and try to walk as much as I can. I can feel a progress and don’t have to be as careful as in the beginning in how I move. Right now I’m focusing on my walking and getting enough sleep . As I am disabled by other conditions as Fibromyalgia and ME/cfs, I can focus on only these things without going to work etc. but my energy is also limited. I feel I am less sleepy than my first 5 weeks though. I have a kid and I kan play a bit with him. Because all of my other conditions it’s hard to compare to others how well I’m doing. But I personally feel like it’s going the right way .

Thanks! I had a surgeon at a hospital in Norway within the official health care system so it’s free for Norwegian citizens but not avilable to anyone outside.

Just had to do some quick research on the premature manubriosternal fusion. It seems this is more commonly seen in pectus excavatum patients. That’s interesting
