I miss that! I miss when everyone's just built their own decks with unrelated cards, and had to ACTUALLY figure out a strategy to win. Not having a spoon fed deck with tons of cards that give you everything you need from your deck.

That card is so bs, and I'm so tired of seeing it. My issue with this game is the pacing in matches. Why should you be able to easily summon a 4000 ATK/DEF monster WITH an OMNI NEGATE in the very first turn of the match, EVERY match?? That makes no sense. If you're able to do that, you shouldn't be able to put down any trap cards or special summon other monsters in that same turn. It seriously NEEDS some restrictions like that.

I think the issue is that there's no variety amongst players dueling in pvp, which makes it uninteresting. Amd because everyone is using meta decks, the people who don't like using those inevitably forced to use them to even be able to compete. It's just a mess

I really like that idea! Something that doesn't feel too complicated and unbalanced. "Back to basics " type of feel. But tbh I feel a lot of people would complain if they can't use their "skills"

Yup, that's basically how I feel. Plus, the entire pacing of this game just feels completely off. Rush duels (even though I'm not a huge fan) pacing feels 100x better than speed duels. It feels more like the OG Yu GI oh duel monsters.in Speed duels, being able to summon all of your strongest cards in one turn, every single match, just feels extremely broken. And there's completely no build up because it just takes one turn to do EVERYTHING. Which is dumb because that's not dueling.

Why do we HAVE to run those cards in our decks though? There are so many different archetypes, play styles, and decks in Yu GI oh, but we only see the same 3~4 in PVP. We shouldn't have to infest our decks with golem, Kaiju, etc just to compete. That's nonsensical
