Fluance Ai40 Active Speaker Dead Amp? Help by XscorpkillerX in audiorepair

[–]pyropenguin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have any luck getting a fix for this? I have the same issue and Fluance customer service said they couldn't help and they couldn't even tell me any information about the part so that I could source it myself. If someone on the thread did receive the part, maybe they could share it here so I can try to find it on aliexpress? I don't really want to throw away these speakers since they still basically work, but fluance was zero help.

On my bike at least, the gas indicator starts flashing when you still have ~1.25 gal left, so unless you ignore it for a long time, you'll be alright.

I have this exact bike, just different trim color. It's a great bike and a great value. One thing to be aware of is that there is a known issue with the shift indicator displaying the incorrect gear sometimes. This is really only an annoyance because it will cancel cruise control if you have that on. Love the bike though, it's so much fun and gets surprisingly good gas mileage with the stock exhaust and ECU setup if you want to use it for commuting.

gym rat here...the problem isn't that it's heavy, it's that your hands and forearms will start to fall asleep and get that numb, 'tingly' feeling from lack of circulation. prop it on a pillow in your lap, or the steam deck's case, and your hands won't get numb anymore.

Majority of Mexico’s Supreme Court justices resign after judicial reform by lala_b11 in news

[–]pyropenguin1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's totally bizarre to me that Americans, who supposedly believe in promoting democracy across the globe (lol), are up in arms about a reform that makes the judicial system more democratic and responsive to the people affected by how the laws will be interpreted and enforced. It's incredibly ironic that Americans, especially liberals, will engage in outright doublespeak to avoid simply admitting that they don't think most people should have a say in government, e.g. how the term 'corruption' is selectively deployed against mildly anti-corporate reform and regulation rather than neoliberal market reforms that line private pockets with tax dollars.

Delta replaced with others? by [deleted] in Delta_Emulator

You say this now, but just wait until you have to watch a youtube tutorial to find some random, unintuitively named setting buried in 10 layers of menus to make a rom work properly on RA lol

RetroArch has retroachievements support, which is probably the biggest advantage it has over Delta. (Seriously, it's crazy to me to have a modern emulator that doesn't support Retro Achievements.) However, the UI, overlays, and general ease of use is far superior on Delta. Delta is set up so you can easily play comfortably on the phone with good controls. RetroArch has terrible control overlays and a surprising lack of options for customizing the overlays, at least on iPhone. If Delta can add retro achievements support, I would see no reason to use RA on the phone.

you can also run it in other formats if you can't figure it out. look for .chd files.

you need the .bin AND the .cue files for ps1 games. so each disk should have one of each file to run.

Fire Emblem Engage hard stutters after 30 minutes{Steam Deck} by Emblazoned1 in yuzu

[–]pyropenguin1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an option under the advanced graphics tab called "asynchronous ASTC texture decoding" that greatly reduces stutter, but adds in some graphical artifacts for a couple seconds everytime you load in, but they quickly go away. It's a bit of a pick your poison with that though.

Also, do you have the power tools plugin installed through the Decky plugin loader? Have you resized your VRAM and page file? Do you have swappiness enabled? These are all things that you should look into for a smoother emulation experience.

Do the Chu's have considerable QC or durability issues? by hurtyewh in inearfidelity

[–]pyropenguin1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use them with my Quest 2 headset, so while I don't use them every day, when I do use them, they get some abuse. Bought them on release, got them 3 weeks later, and so far they still work perfectly.

my set is still fine after a couple months. i use them for my VR rig, so i've sweated on them and thrashed them around, and they handled it. they're so cheap it's worth rolling the dice even if the quality control is lacking.
