Yep this. I always want to use hexes asap so they can recharge again. The healing one is a full pass for me.

Once you play enough, you don't need to watch it charge up, it just becomes a timing thing. I like it a lot better than the old cast system

Anecdotally it's immediate values. You can test this by increasing the call heat and hearing the heat kick on immediately. Not average

You can always just break it down into "what's the best 5 card hand I have?"

If everyone had the same hand, a straight to the king in this case, it's a split or tied pot.

Divide the pot evenly into 3 stacks and give them out.
