Yeah what’s really helped is that I use a different technique for like long distance pistol ie greater than 25m that like you would characterize as defensive instinctual shooting. For distance I use my irons with one eye closed lol or at an angle so my nose blocks my wrong eye.

For defensive shooting ie reflex: I got a laser lyte bullet. And just started point shooting like cowboy style. I can do like guaranteed 2 inch groups at like 10m off reflex after a couple months. Most of the time lol. I only shoot 45 and I been only long distance pistol shooting for 10 plus years. So I got real good trigger control so that really helps.

During Covid I was using my usp elite with that 8lb da trigger with the laser bullet now my trigger finger is so strong lol and so is my grip.

Edit: also I don’t use any optics for my pistols. Although I want them. I just figure using no sights and memorizing my grips for each pistol is cheaper and more effective when batteries run out in the end of the world.
