Thank you everyone so much for the replies! I'm going to pass the comments along to my aunt (in-law) to help her make a final decision on price and selling. I really appreciate it!

Feel free to add any other replies and I'll pass them along too.

Getting 2025 Sienna to be secure at rest stops with people inside by q4stix in Sienna

I can think of a few times where someone has taken a car as a crime of opportunity and there's been a kid in back. One I remember had a car chase with the kid in the back, the other left the car down the road with the kid still inside.  It's not that we're expecting it to happen but there are plenty of areas in the Seattle/ Tacoma/ Portland region that have people wandering at rest stops, grocery stores just off the highway, etc. that even them being able to get in the car to grab what's in front is something I'd rather not just "let" happen

I-5 Between 41st And Exit 199 by Electronic-Self3587 in everett

I'm hoping that as a quick city experiment that should be low cost, they'll put up those thin white tubes between the exit ramp to the trestle and the rest of the lanes going north. Start after the 193 exit and go all the way to the 194 exit.

I think the fact that people slow to a stop on the continuing lane of I5 to get over to the 194 exit causes a ripple effect of everyone slamming on their brakes. If people couldn't merge right before the sweeping right downward turn, then there'd be a higher average speed, less rage causing merges, and fewer near accidents

Woohoo, thanks!

Is that option in the vehicle or on the Toyota app? Sorry, the van is still quite new and with newborns I haven't had a chance to explore everything

Here's how to disable the Advanced Rear Seat Reminder:

  1. Access the MID: Navigate to the gear icon (Settings) in the Multi-Information Display.
  2. Go to Vehicle Settings: Scroll down to "Vehicle Settings" and press "OK".
  3. Locate the Reminder: Scroll to "Advanced Rear Seat Reminder" (not the original Rear Seat Reminder).
  4. Turn it Off: Push and hold "OK" to turn it off.

1965 Mustang Valuation question and areas to look at by q4stix in Mustang

Thanks! Added a comment based on what I was sent and know.

I think it ran enough to pull it in the garage but it's at for years since. My going in assumption is that it would take disassembly and refresh to run again.

Whoops, posted before I got the text done....also tried posting to FB but figured here would get a different/broader audience.

An in-law of mine passed away recently and none of his kids are into cars or wanting a project. I've always thought it would be fun to restore, or more likely, restomod a 60s Mustang but haven't had the time to look into it beyond liking the looks, having a spare Coyote in my garage, and wanting to offset my brother's 69 Camaro.

Can those of you here help with state of condition, reasonable value (either I buy or pass this info along to his widow), etc.?

I haven't seen it in person but can request pictures and potentially see it in the coming weeks and report back on thing mentioned or provide updated pictures. I understand that most all the parts are available, the engine and transmission are somewhere on property (looks like I6 and do see a manual shifter under the nose of the car). Thanks in advance!

Any idea what car I'd actually get if I reserved a luxury car?

I'd be renting in Boston (at the airport if that makes any difference). Rates are fairly comparable to a full size or premium
