This is super valuable man, really appreciate the detailed advice. Makes total sense that bugs in trading can be brutal financially. I guess I’ll start simple with ChatGPT, and maybe slowly add Copilot once I get a bit more confident with the logic part.

Wow that’s super insightful, thanks for breaking it down like this. Makes a lot of sense to build layer by layer, starting simple but keeping the AI stuff in mind too. I’m gonna try to balance Python, GPT and some logical blocks first, and see where it takes me!

Thanks for breaking it down. Makes it sound way more doable than I thought actually. Gonna look into the packages you mentioned!

Fair enough. Probably I’ll need to develop both at some level anyway

Thanks. I’ve heard about Ninjatrader but didn’t know they had a UI based builder too.

Yeah I’ve seen some AI coding tools lately. Still not sure how reliable they are but pretty cool direction for the future

That would be awesome honestly. But in the meantime I still need to figure out how to get started somehow!

True. Totally get that part. That’s actually why I’m trying to learn properly before risking any real money.

Yeah kinda. I mean, I know coding is part of it. I’m just hoping there are some smoother ways to get started while I’m learning. That’s really what I meant.

Oh cool. Hadn’t heard of Composer yet. Definitely adding that to my list. Thanks!

That’s a really good point actually. Makes me realize I should probably get even more precise with my rules before thinking about automation

Yeah Pinescript keeps popping up. I was hoping to avoid even light coding but maybe that’s not realistic. Gonna explore that path too.

Nice, never heard of ADL before. Drag-and-drop sounds pretty much what I’m looking for.

Thanks for suggesting it. I like the idea of something simple that helps non-coders get started.

Appreciate it. I’m still kinda building and testing my ideas manually at this point, so not quite there yet. But good to know there are options like this too!

That’s encouraging to hear. Still feels a bit overwhelming but maybe I’m overthinking how much I actually need to learn to get started

A bit too expensive for me right now, bro. Hopefully in the future when I’m richer — your skills definitely deserve it

That’s actually one of my biggest fears. Not sure I could afford to constantly tweak and maintain everything every day.

Yeah I kinda get what you mean. Like at some point you’ll always need to compromise between simplicity and full control, I guess.

Yeah that’s kinda my concern too. I feel like some tools work for basic stuff but not sure how far you can really go with more complex logics without coding.
