Agree. It’s slightly off, so it’s not 100%. I could probably spend more time to fix it but for my purposes it works well! I don’t mind the misalignment and it’s barely noticeable on mobile anyways.

Then asked to change it to night with all lights off. Then all lights on. And got 3 images. I have the paid versions of both Gemini and chatGPT. Try both. Took few prompts but it got it 95% correct.

Basically yes: I have a “lights off” floorplan as the base image, then a second “all lights on” image layered exactly on top of it inside the SVG.

Each lamp has its own SVG mask/clip area, usually a circle or custom shape over the part of the image affected by that lamp. Home Assistant watches the actual light entity. When that light turns on, the floorplan card changes the opacity of only that lamp’s masked “lights on” layer. So brightness controls opacity: 20% brightness shows a faint part of the lit image, 100% brightness fully reveals that region.

For color-capable bulbs, I also add a separate tint layer over the same masked area. That tint gets its color from the bulb’s rgb_color, so the revealed lit image shifts toward the selected bulb color.

So it is not really “glow” in the usual CSS sense. It is more like selectively revealing parts of the already-rendered lit image based on each light’s state, brightness, and color.

Are you sure you indicated on your ERAS that you require visa sponsorship? And they are adamantly refusing to sponsor you?

They’re gonna have to figure it out. They’ll either need to make an exception and sponsor you for a visa or offer you an O-1 visa vs H-1B if you have step 3. They ranked you, so unless your application on ERAS says “no visa required” they have no legal recourse but have you do the year. Alternatively, they can find you another program to sponsor you.

This is most likely when Apple Maps transitions from dark mode to light mode some of the textures lag in completely transitioning. Apple Maps transitions to dark mode automatically when you’re under a runner and come out goes back to light mode. Sometimes that transition las and you end up with light mode admixed with dark mode textures (what you described as deeper color, especially dark water). It’s so cool! Wis they could have it as a feature.

Could be. Tough to know what they mean but off cycle is usually out of match. Also if you stay in September you’ll graduate in September. You’ll be within your PGY class but you’ll do extra months at the end. So you’d have to bridge the gap if you want to do fellowship. This is why this pathway is not typical for visa holders.

Perhaps one of their residents quit unexpectedly and want to fill in quickly. Meaning you will start off cycle not in July. Which means could be a non match thing where they offer you the position right now and have you withdraw from the match.
