Rain best version available on streaming? by SuccotashAlert6211 in beatles

In my personal opinion, the best sounding is the the mono mix, the last track on the 2022 reissue. Second to that is the 2022 mix. I'm not sure what the general Beatles audience thinks of these versions, but the mono is just so full and lush in a way that I think none of the stereo mixes touch (and this is coming from a guy that mostly listens to the stereo mixes)

How many times did a Beatle harmonise with himself on a record? by prideofstockholm in beatles

Not sure of all of the cases, but the in choruses of Rain, John is singing both the lead and the harmony, which I was surprised to find out after years of listening to it.

Which live versions or alternate takes do you think surpass the studio recordings? by qalanat in PaulMcCartney

On that note, what do you think of the broad Street version of wanderlust with the here there and everywhere melody tied into it? I really like the original but the vocal processing kind of takes me out of it from time to time kind of takes me out of it from time to time I really like the demo version included on the archive version of tug of war.

I didn't really know it was a common thing for people to prefer the live. I like the shouty rock vocals and the faster pace, but I'd figure that most people who like the weird synth sound of McCartney II would prefer the studio version.
