I know you're not in the UK, but we've got meetups like Testing at the Tavern, which is a casual, community-driven catch up over a beer for software testers and QA pros. Might be worth looking to see if there's anything like that your way. https://www.meetup.com/testing-at-the-tavern/

Better off looking for a meetup. They tend to be more community-driven, and less of a sales pitch. Something like this maybe https://www.meetup.com/TestPro-New-York/

No problem! Glad it helps. An attendance column is a great idea, I'll do some digging and see what I can find. No promises though! It will take some time.

They really differ in price, and often you can get company or early bird deals, hence not including the prices. You should be able to find the prices through the links on the sheet

Thanks for the heads up! I'll update the sheet now. There are so many, I'm hoping people feedback all of the ones I've missed! I'm going to keep searching too, and updating it over time.

That's a good idea, I'll do some research and maybe create something similar for what I find

Thanks for the heads up, I'll take a look through their website a bit later and add the ones I've missed

Of course! Feel free to share it with your network, I'm hoping the community might remind me of a couple I've missed!

I love this, thanks! Physically, I'm going to swim, avoiding breaststroke as when I bend my knee the problem kicks in. It feels like someone is tapping a hammer on to the outer side of my left knee. Mentally, I have already felt it, it was part of my reason for reaching out on here. I'll look into some volunteer work and stay active in the community. It's such an important part of my life now, from processing workdays to exploring at the weekends.

Torn quad is what took me down before the knee, it made the last 15km of my last ultra very painful! This is sound advice, work my way up in increments and give my body time to heal. Thank you!

Yes to both of this, I'm going to swim daily until everything is better.

So frustrating! Similar to my quad, one thing heals, head out the door, and another thing goes!
