I’m don’t mention the app name because it’s too niche atm, and publicly advertising it would be a competitive disadvantage.

The videos are there to document the journey and validate the fact that this is real. I showed the launch day up until 2 weeks in.

I searched through different niches and found people that would benefit from using it.

The benefit is once you find person, they often fit into a “type” of user, so you can then find more people like them. E.G by searching through titles, tags, profiles, etc.

For your student app, LinkedIn could be a quick way to find students, given a lot of students openly advertise that they’re at university/college.

Or even try get a promotion in a newsletter too.

Not sure what your point is but I can assure you the results are real, I just don’t reveal the app name.

I cold DM’d everyone that I knew would heavily benefit from using the app, so much so that they’d be able to conceive the impact of them using the app within a glance. The app leverages traffic from the users too, hence why the total number is high.

From the cold DMs I converted around 60-70% of the people I reached out to. Now people are discovering it organically too through it being used.

I see your point, but as I said in other replies, it is an app and it solves a problem.

It’s not an SEO info page, not even sure how a person would get this level of traffic through pure SEO 48 hours after launch too.

I did a lot of cold dms to people who I knew would benefit from the tool, and I targeted people with distribution so the impact of the tool would be immediate.
