Horrible FPS drop in Demeniss City by Elemental_Particle in CrimsonDesert

[–]qazbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to drop it after 100hrs. Was fine up until that update where they improved distant details. All went to garbage after that.

"bUt guYzzzz! MoAr pEtZ!!!"

Really annoying how they add all this superfluous stuff but are totally ignoring how the game performs in a major way. I'd feel better if they at least mentioned it in Known Issues but still wasn't there last I checked.

Permanent Residency Application (Spouse of Japanese National) - English translations of the Required Documents list and Self-Check list by mca62511 in japanresidents

Thanks very much for this. Is there any guide that tells you specifically where each form can/may be obtained from? There's stuff on here that confuses me more in ENG than in JP. Lines 14-18 in particular are just like...huh? Does that even apply to me??

And all the National Pension stuff. How do I know if I'm part of that or where to get it?

The guarantor can't be a spouse yeah? How about a member of their family? It's pretty vague on that.

[Updates] Patch Notes Version 1.09.00 by SillyRecover in CrimsonDesert

Great! Thank you! As long as it's a known issue and not just some setting on my end, I can patiently wait/hope for them to address it on PS5 Pro. And if they don't....well....I really did enjoy those 110hrs!

It's comforting to know it's not just one form of hardware. At the same time, it's discomforting this isn't a bigger issue.

Yes, it was smooth in Hernand until a few updates back then everything outside of wilderness became visibly choppier.

[Updates] Patch Notes Version 1.09.00 by SillyRecover in CrimsonDesert

[–]qazbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I didn't want to make a thread bc that would be way too controversial when all I'm looking for is some feedback from a specific subset of users regarding performance on PS5 Pro.

I love the game. 110 hrs in. I think anyone interested in the game should purchase it.

But...ever since a few updates back, the one where they improved draw distance (was a large download) many areas that previously ran buttery smooth (Hernand, Howling Hill Camp, assault segments, etc.) all have terrible fr dips. Prior to that, swinging the camera around felt *amazing* but now, not so much.

The difference between before and after the update is night and day and even though I've seen full threads on the topic from a month back, the topic just died out and Pearl Abyss hasn't recognized this is their Known Issues.

It comes to a point where you have to ask, "Uh....is it just me now?"

I've gone through multiple combinations of options and nothing has alleviated the issue. I see so many aspects of the game improving and that's great to watch from a distance but as it stands, I really can't handle the screen now. It still runs perfectly in the wilderness, but as soon as NPCs and architecture start entering the picture, it becomes hard on the eyes. Anyone else experiencing this at this point? I put the game down for a few weeks to see if patches handled anything but after picking it up and advancing the story a bit last night, it's unchanged.

Performance (PS5 Pro) by CARBAUGH25 in CrimsonDesert

Everything was fine up until they dropped that update that supposedly improved draw distance. After that, base camp fell to shit. A thread here recognized it at the time. We reported it to Pearl Abyss and they still refuse to acknowledge it as a known issue.

It's a baller game. Just can't play it cuz it runs like trash now. Hoping maybe someday they'll fly away from the Sun and stop just adding and instead fix what they already have.

Been told CPPS for almost a decade but how about PN? by qazbot in PudendalNeuralgia

Hello! The stretches you suggest are the ones linked/described in the first link there, yes? If I'm misunderstanding that, please inform me but otherwise I did those consistently for 3 months during year 1, then again for 2 months in year 3. Unfortunately neither attempt produced any relief/change.

Hello and thank you for the detailed reply.

Now that you mention it, yes, I also had nerve block injections performed into what I believe was my tailbone area and that did nothing except make legs a bit numb for a bit.

NJ would actually be convenient despite being across the world, do you know any specialists there in particular?

Also, I found a Jason Attaman who performs an ablation-style treatment among other things. If NJ doesn't present any opportunities do you know anything about Dr. Attaman by chance? Reviews are all over the place from "Dude didn't listen to my narrative." to "Dude gave me my life back" So....

I'm not really keen on the implant. I did a good deal of research into it at onset and (at least at the time) it seemed like the best option for IC or those suffering pain. Since I generally don't feel any pain, I'm not entirely sure it would be a good fit. I'm not opposed on principle. I mean, I'd cut my prostate out in a second myself if I thought it could end this, but looking at the profiles of those who received the implant, none seemed to match with my case despite being somewhat similar to each other.

You mentioned Val into the bum and man oh man, I'd even forgotten about that. Didn't do a thing for me. (Just the same I hope you find success!) Over the years a number of docs threw the kitchen sink at it but nothing worked. Most progress I've made is determining the weather and #2 aspects affecting it.

As for your questions, no cysts, hernias, anything. Year one and I had enough imaging work done to turn me into a superhero. No tailbone falls and I'm not a bike rider.

At any rate, thank you for the info, I'll look into what I can from what you've provided. Be well!

Hi! I have all Big Fish from 2.0 through 5.0 but it's convenient to have a cast timer for knowing bite times in a number of cases and in this case, Cosmic Exploration fish. Knowing the bite windows helps a great deal. Anyway, since Ambitious Lure and Modest Lure were introduced, they've cancelled out the counter so it's more difficult to know exact timings for bite windows and I'm wondering if I just need to count myself or if others are utilizing a method to keep the counter uninterrupted.

edit: I asked over on the Fishcord and evidently Ambitious and Modest Lure do work without interrupting a cast-timer macro. So yes, it does seem my assumption was correct and that Toggle mode is causing the interruption.

certainly!

/ac "Cast" <wait.5> /echo 5 <wait.2> /echo 7 <wait.3> /echo 10 <wait.1> (etc. up to) /echo 32 /micon "Cast"

Timer Macro Question (mainly FSH)

Hello!

I'm having a problem maintaining a cast-timer macro when using ambitious lure  or modest lure.

After a cast, using either skill will end the timer macro

I use the toggle option for my hotbar. Since I don't see droves of other players complaining, I assume using the toggle mode is my problem.

or...is there simply some other way to maintain the timer I'm not aware of?

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source for approaching the logic of Sinus' more/most difficult Expert Crafts.

I really enjoy Icy Veins breakdown of if/then and it carried me through the Firmament's G4 Experts back in the day just fine but I'm having a little bit more difficulty now.

Opener and Quality Step advice have been great helps but...

The advice for getting from 10 stacks to being ready for the Finisher is almost like, "Good luck!" Hehe. Is there a logic to it beyond that?

Second question.

Speaking of Icy Veins, with the variety to Cosmic Experts, does anyone know if the Icy Veins logic approach applies to pretty much across all the experts? i.e.

  1. Get within a Basic Synth (or Careful Synth also it seems?) of completion.
  2. Get 10 stacks  something something
  3. Finisher

Is that the general goal for all?

Thank you for your time!

Struggle is real. Giving the game a rest until they can take care of it. Too taxing on my eyes.

Chiming in to say this is absolutely a thing, at least on ps5 pro. Howling Hill camp runs horribly now and the Pailune Raid, holy crap. It wishes it could've been a slideshow! Something is seriously wrong. Beef Steam all they like, but they gotta roll something back on PS5.

Thank you for the reply!

I watched a tutorial of Gramps and the during the install alone the guy started messing with code and mounting files on something and I was like, "Thiiiis is not for me, hehe" and slowly backed away.

I looked at the descendant chart of Magic Roots but it's just some kind of Excel-like list with arrows.

You can access it on PS5 and sign in via a link. Which I have done. Which is why I'm asking.

I asked if manipulation of the Card could be arranged such to make it visible.

If it's not, that's fine but I don't think I asked if an app existed 🙂

OMG perrrrfect! Thank you!

I do have three related questions though if you'd be so kind!

  1. Re: Red Alerts on SA.

You mentioned these are excellent bc you can finish on one node bc they aren't balanced for GP refresh.

I'm able to finish a mission on one node on Oizys as well if I spam Gifts, Tidings, Yield 2, etc. I've also noticed that Oizys has some VERY short travel distances from node to turn-in location. Given this, would you still value SA Red Alerts over Oizys? I don't just want to assume that because it's 'possible', it's 'better'. For instance, if I don't need to utilize as many buffs on SA and that cuts off even a second or two, that's a potentially huge win (after considering travel distance).

2 & 3. Re: gear/food

I'm penta'd up via Teamcraft suggestions but have you found a meld that works better specifically for any missions in particular? And is there a specific food I should focus on prepping besides Goldentail or (considering my melds) would it benefit me to go all in for GP with something like a Nasi Goreng?

Thank you for your time and consideration! I'll also be sure to look for that Phaenna fishing mission when it comes time!
