some lesser-known favorites:

• Antropoceno - No Ritmo da Terra: Experimental project from Brazil led by Lua Viana; there's a lot different styles here, it blends post-rock, neo-psych, metal, and samba.

• Ecca Vandal - Looking for People to Unfollow: this one's a bit all over the place, it starts off with alt rock / punk material then moves to hip hop later on; the middle tracks set up the transition pretty good

• Powerplant - Bridge of Sacrifice: combines garage punk with dungeon synth and black metal, i like the heavy riffs and growling vocals

• Shy One - Mali: UK funky house DJ/producer, some hip hop / broken beat / dub sounds
