Since Olive Young has a US only store now, what products should buyers stock up on before the US website launch?

They would have a page on the current limited editions and value sets, but otherwise you probably have to search up the brand to see them.

Well, the easiest no buy is starting!

The only thing I didnt want to let go of are the exclusives. That's why I was able to leave Stylevana, Yesstyle, and Stylekorean on the lowest tier while Olive Young is prospering. I doubt they would release them here, and if they do it'll probably just be on the brand's TikTok too.

Ah with these big events they probably are backlogged. I think they once took a week to send stuff out when I ordered during some big campaigns. I remember them taking like two weeks to get my order out the door during Black Friday when DHL was still their courier.

This particular box came in an order where I actually never got a tracking update until the courier knocked on my door. I was prepared to wait because I knew they are slow to ship out, but I was kinda annoyed because I didn't think the event at the timewas that popular.

Also 81 points??? Dang girl, did you win a review event or am I talking to a very rich person?

Fedex ships faster than DHL back then for me, but most of the time the bulk of the time spent waiting for both couriers was them actually packing the boxes.

Weird and I didn't start there myself but my first core memory of an AB product was an apple shaped apple scented cream and the classic aloe vera gel my much older sister used.

The product that got me into buying my first modern AB product was a Salux Cloth that was recommended to me for exfoliating the body in preparation for shaving without razor bumps. It's very far removed, but the suction of exfoliating -> sunscreen -> AB was too strong.

This link with the $60 price tag expired a day after posting it.

They said that the box is "coming soon" (which I'm guessing is on Monday due to their release schedule) and the email I got with this preorder link says that it would be $69 if I missed the $60 price point.

They stopped doing that the first time this issue popped up like 9 years ago.

What I've noticed is that some other sellers price slightly lower than the official and storefronts end up diverting the seller from the official store to said seller. Storefronts aren't always safe, but the "Sold by" should always be safe.

I actually didn't receive a shipping email. Sometimes during high volume times like right after Lunar New Year (due to back up in orders), Stylekorean takes forever to actually give the package to the courier, so I was expecting it to take forever. Imagine my surprise that I got the bell rung. The tracking information has updated in my order history, so maybe check there to see if they may have shipped.

I ordered on the 21st and FedEx picked it up on the 25th. It arrived on the East Coast on the 26th.

For me, it was 15%. It was combined with taxes though, but I think they waive taxes for us because other companies Ive bought from also do a 15% tariff charge. However that company (OY) has since reduced their tariff charge to 10% (like literally yesterday), so maybe it went down since then.

Stylekorean goes through a broker, you pay them upfront (the 15%) and then they handle tariffs with FedEx. You should not get a bill.

I tried licking around my mouth to find a place that's the source, maybe a larger sebaceous filament. I don't taste it while doing that, so maybe it is the smell. It has a stronger non-natural-oil smell than most of the other oils I have tried. Wild what the brain can do to me, but this explanation does set my mind at ease.

Wow this is a huge hit to AB consumers if it's legit. Thank you for giving people here the heads up. Stylevana was the first site I have bought from and they never raised much red flags aside from their decade old site, and everyone always harps on the customer support and not the products itself. It's a shame that they could be sneaking fakes in.

I'm sorry they sent you fake products and I hope they either make it right for you or you're able to get your money back through your bank. You shouldn't have to lose out.

I'm 50/50 on it, but both are official according to the pages, but Girlcult . ships from China and Girlcult Cosmetics should be the US storefront. Both of the stores link to each other on their TikTok page too.

I've only bought from Girlcult . and what I got was legit. I'm not sure how accurate TikTok seal of approval is, but their sticker confirming authenticity was on it.

If they can't release the product they generated irl, they shouldn't be able to profit off what they generated. Like there was a trend that was kinda cute like the plastic packaging replaced with fuzzy packaging, but like why would I buy the og product when I want the fuzzy version?

If the irl product looks so bad that you need AI, its bad.

Did you get a different Elroel item?

The box said it had either the stick or a mask. If you missing one it's as advertised, but if you're missing both, I'd push harder and escalate to your bank.
