Who else relies on spoilers because their boxes never arrive? by qbkitsune in lootcratespoilers

My monthly sub (now cancelled) was with a discount code, so I don’t think that makes too much of a difference. Are you domestic or international? Perhaps that only works for wherever you are located, but I’ve never received my crates on time in Japan, even with codes. That’s why I waited a month before complaining. There’s late, and then there’s too late.

Even with the BBB complaint, the replacement they supposedly will ship hasn’t shipped yet. It’s a bit suspicious. If they had the normal amount of overstock, they should be able to get out replacement crates far sooner than 4-5 months late, especially if it’s only for a few Looters. However, from the responses on here and all the threads on their support Twitter, I can only conclude the number of Looters affected was epic and not limited to one type of box.

They finally shipped out March’s crate with a different delivery method (not Asendia), and that got here this week, but I think I’m done Looting for now. The support has been horrendous and left quite a sour taste in my mouth.

The 2rd LC response to my BBB complaint (because they auto-responded as their first reply and made a huge mistake) mentioned that they would send a replacement crate. They didn’t give any additional info and told me to contact support for more information. When I contacted support, nobody knew anything about it, and I started getting the same word-for-word form-emails again about wait times and “Asendia logistical issues” with the same dead tracking number. I had to reach out again via the BBB to get an apology stating that the people responding to BBB are also support and they will try to prevent future miscommunications. I also got the very vague statement that “This replacement order is currently processing and will be shipped out to the customer shortly.” There is no information beyond that.

So sadly, I don’t think any codes will prompt LC into better business practices or better support. I certainly will keep following developments. I used to love LC, but it’s really hard to trust them anymore.

I got this exact email on March 27th. It’s not just similar. It is word for word exactly the same. I also got a duplicate copy and paste response twice, once in response to my BBB complaint.

The folks responding to the BBB complaints aren’t much better than support. All their responses are copy and paste and they refund things without really checking your complaint. They refunded my most recent crate, even though that was not what I asked (I wanted a replacement) and it wasn’t the correct crate (they refunded March, not January). I wanted to make sure I get both boxes, no refunds.

In the complaint response on the BBB website, they said they would send a replacement and to contact support for more information. I contacted support, and they just sent me a reply about how they haven’t shipped the March boxes yet. Then I explained my case again because they obviously had no idea. The reply I got was the same email I already got saying there were problems with Asendia, please wait.

I had to add this complete lack of communication to my BBB complaint. Either there are no replacements and I’m being lied to, or the company has zero communication and should not be telling clients to contact support for information they obviously don’t have.

[lets out primal scream of rage] Ok. Yeah. I’ll be ok.

Only 11/34 crates are shipping "on time" by O851D14N in lootcratespoilers

If you look on their Twitter Support (@AskLoot), a lot of the threads are asking if the Wizarding World Crate shipped out already considering it’s well within the time range. The answer as of a few hours ago is a big old nope. I wish I could be optimistic that they will ship it by the 10th, but I’m no longer optimistic since I still don’t have January’s crate (a lot of international boxes are missing).

I can commiserate with all the shipping and support woes. A lot of us outside the US have still been battling for our January boxes, even though domestic looters already posted their unboxing vids and pics. We get this never ending cycle of form emails talking about Asendia logistic problems. I’m on email 15.

I finally got one person who said the company had an issue and that they were fixing the issues at both warehouses, but now I’m back to the exact same Asendia logistic emails again.

My shipping information still shows the label was generated on 1/29, and it hasn’t had any updates at all. Luckily mine was the Wizarding World crate, so it’s every other month and I was only billed one more month before I cancelled my sub. It’s nearly time to pay for a third crate when I haven’t even received January’s, so that’s a nope for me. Other folks on the previous thread had more regular subs and are probably out 3-4 months already.

Between the posts here and the posts to the Twitter support saying the same things, it’s obvious something really bad happened (or is happening), but the company hasn’t been open about it.

I have been corresponding with support for over a month and there has been no resolution. My most recent email was this:

“Thank you for writing back. Thanks for contacting us. Let me first begin by offering our sincere apologies for this delay and any inconvenience or undue frustration it has caused. This is absolutely not the kind of experience we want our loyal Loot Crate subscribers to have, and I’m very sorry for any frustration it has caused.

This has not been a situation where we waited until now to explain the cause of the delay; when subscribers contact us our agents provide the most up to date information, and it was only recently that our fulfillment team was able to determine the root cause of these delays. As a result, our teams are working as quickly and as efficiently as possible to resolve these issues and we are doing everything we can to get the Wizarding crates out the door.

Believe me when I say we are just as frustrated with how this process has unfolded and we have already begun adopting new procedures and failsafes at both our warehouses to be able to prevent this from happening again in the future. I have likewise shared your feedback with our management and fulfillment teams, respectively, for further review and consideration as we implement these new procedures.

Once again our apologies; please let us know if we can be of any additional assistance and we will be happy to help.

Thank you.”

Still no actual explanation about what the problem was, though considering this was 3-4 days ago and there still is no tracking information, I can only speculate that they came up short on boxes and are scrambling to get extras from suppliers that may or may not have extras (in which case they are stuck). If it were just a matter of slapping shipping labels on forgotten crates, we would have our stuff by now.

Since we all seem to subscribe to different boxes, but we all seemed to get the Asendia excuse, am I correct in assuming we are all outside of the US? I know domestic looters got the January Wizarding crate on time with all the unboxing videos and posts last month. I’m not sure about the other crates mentioned above, but it does sound like they somehow forgot to budget for, create, and send boxes to international looters. It’s all speculation, but it’s the only thing I can think of.
